Do you think before you act?

In the myth, I do not think Prometheus thought before he acted. If someone says that there will be consequences if you do something, don't do it. He should have stopped and thought, "What is going to happen if I do this?" And then he would not have been punished.

I think that a great speech topic would be, "what is a career that you would do when you are older?" I think this is a question that many find hard to answer. But once you answer this you have a pretty good idea on what to pursue on while going through middle school, high school, and college.

I think that the government should fund in feeding the homeless people. It would be a good idea and a lot of people would be happy about this. Also, a good idea would be to fund in helping in cleaning up natural disaster messes so the people whose homes were destroyed get them back. Last, the government should fund in the military. They risk their lives and work very hard, so they deserve it.

Most athletes are not overpaid

Most athletes are not over paid, but some do not have any exceptions for being greedy. When the players are payed over 7 million dollars, they are being very greedy. But the majority are payed what they deserve, with the risk of injury, with all the money they earn from sponsers and the fans who pay to watch them play, I think a range 500 grand to 6 million dollars a year is about right.

My hole in the sidewalk

My hole in the sidewalk is when i decide to put off my homework. And nothing good comes out of putting off your homework. These are the main reasons why I do this.
First of all, I just got home from school. After a seven hour long school day I like to rest instead of doing more school work.
Next, there is T.V. This is probally the most destracting thing in world. As soon as you turn on the T.V it's hard to stop.
Last, I enjoy going outside with my friends and play basketball or football. It is not fun leaving your friends to do homework.
Those are the main reasons why homework is like a hole in the sidewalk.

Something I cant live without

One thing I can't live without is sleep. I would rather have no food for a day than no sleep for a night. With no sleep I can't pay attention to class or anything else that is important. I also read an article that said you will die faster from no sleep than no food. So that is why I can't live wihout sleep. This is alot different from what Scrooge would say because he is only interested in money and gaining expensive items. He is just SELFISH!

The best setting in the world

The best "closed setting" for a mystery story would be a dark setting. The darkness makes the story very mysterious and allows the reader keep interested. For example, in the story The hound of the Baskervilles, a mysterious part that is also dark is the Baskerville hall. Without the dark setting the story wouldn`t be interesting at all.

Fear (and spiders)

Everyone has some sort of fear, whether they are afraid of spiders, (I’m deadly scared of spiders) or to talk in front of a group of people. Fear controls us to do some pretty weird stuff. For example, at my brother’s birthday party, I was just peacefully walking down the hall then I saw a huge black widow spider. Scared out of my mind, I scream just like a four year old girl. I hate the part of our brain that makes us do stuff crazy when we are scared, it can embarrass you a lot. For me, fear doesn`t motivate me, it just makes me scream like a four year old girl and then pee my pants.

My favorite short story we have read this year is by far, “Charles". I like this one the most because it has a weird twist to the story. I like weird twists. Another reason why I like this story the most is because I think it is funny in some parts and is also ironic in other parts.

school lockers

What I don`t like the most in this school is having to share a locker with someone and alot of people agree.
First, people could be very disorganized with locker partners. When your disorganized you don`t do as well in school. Also, kids can be very late if their locker jamm from being over packed. If you`re late you could get detention, and I have heard detention is no fun.
Next, I have noticed that some lockers in the blue and purple halls are empty. Wouldn`t it be cool if those interested could enter a raffle to have there own locker. That way more people would do better in school and wouldn`t be late to class.
ultimately, making good use of the empty lockers could fix the one thing that I dont like about this school.
