Dear Prometheus,
I have a question for you. Do you think before you act? I guessing not. Why did you not obey Zues when he clearly said not to bring fire to the earth? Was it worth it? Well I guess you invented something we commonly use each day. That's great that we have these technologies in the world today. But ask yourself what are the consequeses if I do this. Think before you do something.

Plastic Water Bottles

Have you ever thought about the true story about water bottles? Well there made of plastic and filled up with water, so what? Well if we keep on using those water bottles by the year 2030 2/3 of the world will not have fresh drinking water. The whole world has 95% of water. Only 1% of that water is drinkable. Many people buy botlled water because they think that it taste fresher or some may say "pure", well when kids taste tested the difference for tap water and bottled water they couldn't tell the difference. Actually, 40% of bottled water is just tap water! Why go to the store and buy these bottles of water for over the top amounts of money when you can just get up and go fill your water bottle or cup with the water from your sink? That water is free! The cost for bottled water is higher than to cost for gasoline these days. Do you even know what's in the plastic bottle, oil. Plastic bottles use 714 million gallons of oil, that is enough to fuel 100,000 cars! Americans bought more than 29 billion bottles of water in 2007. Just think if we stopped using bottled water we would save oil for fuel and even save our planet.

The government has an exact amount of money to spend on the US. I limited only three main topics that I think they support. First off, I think the government would support education and schools. Schools are very important and they should at least pay for something that has to do with the education. The next topic I think they should support is for charities and organizations that help the economy. The government has helped many charities over the US. And last but not least, medical needs. All over the country, many citizens have or now have medical treatments. These are my three topics that I think the government has helped us. What are your three topics?

Are Atletes Really Being Paid Too Much?

Many athletes in the world are paid to entertain people, have fame and to inspire other people to do that sport. But, are athletes getting too much to do this very thing? Yes, Athletes are getting paid way to much to do this job. Here are my ways of showing you why this opinion is true. First, every other job is getting way less than baseball players or football players are making. For example, most athletes today make over a million dollars in each year. Next, the government is supporting paying athletes way more than any other job. If the government can pay for a lot of money on athletes, why won't they put that money into something better like charities or donations? I think they can put more more money into these kind of organizations. These two reasons are why I think athletes are getting paid way too much.

The Thing I Couldn't Live Without is...

The thing I coudln't live without is my phone because of many reasons. First thing that comes to me is, without a phone you can't call or text anybody. I mean you can email someone but they would have to be on at the same time. My second reason is if you don't have a phone and you need to call someone ASAP you can't unless you happen to find a pay phone. These two reasons are why I think having a phone could possibly be the thing i couldn't live without.

I think the most perfect mystery setting is a abandoned amusement park. I think this setting for a mystery is perfect because you don't know what to expect from a abandoned place until you find out it's story. The setting would be great for any mystery.

How Does Fear Affect You???

Fear affects me in many ways. Here are just a few of them. First, if I get very scared I usually have nightmares for the next week. Not fun at all and I am very tired the next morning. Next, if I don't have nightmares I will think about that scary moment in my mind. Even when I try to not think about it, it comes back to me somehow, somewhere. I don't go to scary movies or even haunted houses for these reasons. This is how fear affects me. Happy Halloween!!!

In LA class we are writing about what our favorite story was out of the whole quarter. My favorite story was "Rikki-Tikki-Tavi".These are two reasons why I like this book. First, I like the plot. You must have a good plot in every story. And my second reason, why I liked this story, was I liked the action. I liked the action in the end, Nagaina VS. Rikki-Tikki-Tavi. These are some of the reasons why "Rikki-Tikki-Tavi" is my favorite story.

My favorite story was "Rikki-Tikki-Tavi" because the moral of the story. The moral was it doesn't matter how small you are or how big you, it only matters what you believe or what you do to help others.
