Favorite Story!
In Language Arts we have read many fantastic stories! But My favorite story by far would be "Charles" by Shirley Jackson. First, I liked it because it has irony, an example of irony is at the end when Laurie's mother went to the meeting she found out there was no Charles in the class. Second, I thought all the characters were a good choice. The characters were Laurie, the mother, the father, and Charles. I'm not really sure if Charles was a charcter but he was mentioned in the story a lot. Lastly, I liked it because its was a very curious story. I think it was curious because Laurie tells his parents all about Charles and how he is misbehaving in class and then the next day Chalres was the teachers little hellper. So I was wondering how he changed so quickly. That is why "Charles is my favorite story that we read in Language Arts.
