I think that Prometheus from the myth we read did not think before he acted. Prometheus stole fire to give to the people just to make Zeus mad. I think that Prometheus also did not think of how powerful Zeus was and what he could do to him.Prometheus did not think of the concequences of his actions and he was then tortured. It is very important to think before you act or something bad could happen to you just like prometheus.

I think that a good persuasive topic would be why we should ban single use plastic bags. I think this is a good topic because it has two opposing sides. some people think that single use plastic bags are convenient and others find it bad for the environment. The environment is a very controversial topic and I think it would be great to write about. The average american citizen uses approximately 500 single use plastic bags a year! In my opinion that is terrible and it needs to be changed. That is why I think that this would be a good persuasive topic.

Our country is going through a huge crisis financially and we need help form the government.I think that the government needs to pay to help doctors who work very hard every day.I think they also need to fund the teachers who teach young people to be tomorrows leaders, they get payed very little to do what they do and it is ridiculous!The government also needs to fund small businesses who are closing down and they could be these peoples last hope with their small business and it just closes I find that terrible! These are the things that I think the government needs to spend more money on.

Sports are very important to the American society. They bring states together to cheer for there favorite team to win the World Cup,The Super Bowl, and even the World series. But are the athletes that play these sports paid too much...In my opinion--yes. 100 million dollars is a lot to pay one person for five years! Our country is going through a huge dept crisis,people are getting laid off and they eventually end up begging for money wheil athletes are sitting in their big fancy mansions! All of this money could be going to many other places that NEED it. That is why I think that atletes get paid TOO MUCH.

Recently in language arts we have been reading about Martin Luther King and his tremendous qualities.There are alot of great qualities that I would want in a friend.First I would want them to be trustworthy.I would want this so I could tell them anything and trust them with my secrets.Next I would want a very caring friend.I would want a friend like this so they could help me through difficult times and all the challenges life brings me.The last quality I would want in a friend would be a great sense of humor.I would want this amazing quality so my friend could make me laugh and cheer me up when times are tough.All and all these are all great qualities to have in a friend and I believe that theses qualities would make the perfect friend.

I cant live without my family.I love my family soo much and I cant imagine life without them. I would be devastated I would cry everyday. My answer would be way different than scrooge. I think that scrooge would not care at all about family.scrooge would oly care about how much money he had. In his opinion money is the mst important thing in life but in all reality it is not.I mean you need money for shelter food and water but still life is not all about money.

The Perfect Setting

The perfect mystery setting in my opinion would be very dark and eerie. The roads would be made from stone and the buildings would be very old-fashioned. It would take place in a little village in the Black Forest in Germany. It would be very wooded and beautiful with a creepy touch. This is what I think would be the perfect mystery setting.

Fear can affect us in many ways.One way it affects us is it affects our common sense. We do alot of stupid things while we are scared like blame people for our fear and accuse people of doing things wrong.another way fear affects us is it makes our brains make us ready to fight what ever is scaring us.The last way fear affects us is it makes you think of the worst not think rationally. These are some of the many ways fear can affect us.

My favorite short story that we read this quater is "Charels". I love this story because it had me thinking that there was a Charels and it was not Laurie. I mean I should have known by the way he acted but still I was very suprised by the ending and I love those kinds of storys! In fact the ending was my favorite part of the story because I found myself with my mouth wide open just reading it. I thought to myself as I was reading what kind of kid would do that to his or her teacher... only Charels.I also loved the story "Charels" because of the old timey things that would never hapen today,like getting your mouth washed with soap and getting spanked by the teacher. This is some of the many reasons why I loved the story "Charels".

I would hire myself for many reasons. The first reason why I would hire myself is because I am very responsible. I always get my work done on time and done well. I am one of those wont sleep till its done people. The next reason I would hire myself is because I am always on task. I never get in trouble beacause I am always doing what I am supposed to. The last reason why I would hire myself is because I love to work! I think it is very enjoyable. I feel satisfied when i work and turn things in. this is why I would hire myself.
