Athletes' Salaries
Peyton Manning gets 90 million dollars a year, to play a season of football That's enough for a family, for their whole lives. Regular people work their fingers to the bone all their lives, and they barely get by. Proffesional athletes walz up on the field, play, and are instantly millionares. This needs to stop. The psyroll of these athletes is too extreme. If we cut half the money they get, and donate the other half to help pay of debts of the U.s.A, then we would pay them off in a flash. In the Constatution, it says we are all created equal. Then why is there a beggar on the streets, trying to support a family of 3 kids, and working everyday and night? Why is there a football player that has a swelled head, that has 7 cars, one for each day of the week? True, they work hard, being an athlete is tough. But they don't work near hard enough for the money they get today. These aren't woman who are getting the free-easy dough. They are men. Men who play a couple of games, and are stinking rich. These men are so greedy, so selfish, that woman aren't getting payed that much, even though they are professional athletes too. Athletes are getting overpaid. Yes, very much so. So, why don't we do something about it?
