Students Should Learn How to Play a Musical Instrument Music: a language that connects us all and we can all relate to. A good persuasive speech topic would be that students should learn how to play a musical instrument. First of all, students should learn how to play a musical instrument because my middle school, Mountain Ridge Middle School has an excellent band program. With amazing teachers that make band fun and easy to comprehend, the band room is always an exciting place to be. Furthermore, students should learn how to play a musical instrument because it is something that everyone can do. You don't have to be athletic or very tall to play an instrument, like in some sports. You just have to be committed and a hard-worker. Moreover, students should learn how to play a musical instrument because playing a musical instrument is very relaxing and a great way to releve stress. Practice, practice, practice! Practicing is the best way to improve, and it doesn't have to be perfect. It's something that takes a lot of hard work and dedication. But, when you practice, you are only focused on the music, and therefore you are not worrying about anything else. Playing a musical instrument takes your mind off of everything, and that's exactly what relaxing is supposed to do. As you can see, there are many reasons why students should learn how to play a musical instrument and why it would make a good persuasive speech topic for my class. So, you better get to learning! Which musical instrument will you choose? The clarinet, the trombone, the flute, the alto saxophone? There are just so many choices!
