Do you like baseball? Well I am going to be talking about Bade Ruth and why I would want to meet him.
Babe Ruth was one of the most famous baseball players because; he had a record for four years of 714 career homeruns.
He was also one of the first people to be on the baseball hall of fame. Babe Ruth was his nickname his real name is George Herman Ruth Jr. Babe Ruth was born on February 6, 1895 and died on August 16, 1948 by Cancer.
One of the reasons why I would want to meet him is because he played baseball, he was athletic. He all ways believes in the game!

After Rory and Derek helped save Bolivia’s bird they became good friends. They started going places during the summer like the pool. Bolivia’s dad finally gets her a pool membership card so they went swimming almost ever day!
One day Bolivia had a nice idea that they should go camping! So Rory and Derek asked their parents if they can go and they said yes. So they asked Bolivia’s dad if they can take them.
They are going on Friday and so they have to get ready. Their moms said make sure to pack you’re………… sunscreen, A hat, a sleeping bag, and things you need.
It was the day to go camping; they went to the store and grabbed marshmallows, crackers, chocolate, hot dogs, and all kinds of different foods. They were on their way to Mount Lemon and it was only 3:30p.m.
When they got there they put up their tent and then they went for a hike and they heard some bears so they got scared and ran into the tent. 10 minutes later they got out and started a fire and started to cook their hot dogs and they started to eat. They heard something in the bushes and then……………… it was a bear!
They thought it was the bear they heard earlier but they just thought it came because it smelled the food. Then they ran into the tent and they heard the bear eating their food, it was about 10 minutes later and the dad went out to see if the bear was still there and when he got out there was a moment of silence ……………….. They finally heard a sound of Bolivia’s dad throwing something at the bear. He said, “Come out it is clear”. Bolivia, Rory, and Derek walk out of the tent and the bear was gone! Bolivia and the two boys said, “You’re our hero”. Bolivia’s dad said, “Let’s go to sleep.” “Ok,” said the kids, “good night!”

The Iditarod Dream

I am going to be talking about the story Iditarod Dream and how the Jr. Iditarod protects the racers and the dogs. Dusty is a boy that is in the Jr. Iditarod contest which is dog slaying. He lives in Alaska Anchorage. The day of the race he got at the race 2 hours before it was zero degrees which is very good for the dog he said. The race began at Frozen Lake Lucille and it runs seventy-nine miles and it ends at Nome Alaska. Last year they started 10 miles farther and Dusty got worried because the lake ice is barely covered and he could lose control. He was getting ready and he has to carry 2 pounds of food for each dog. It was 10 minutes before the race started; dusty was at the starting line he got all the dogs hook up. The race starts they cross safely across the lake. They were at road and they got out of control and he had to slow the team down. In that part of the story he was he did not want the dogs to get hurt on the ice so he slowed them down. They take there first break he gives the dogs there snakes so that it will keep there energy up. He checks there feet for any injuries and OT and Blacky had splits in the weds between so he put booties on them so that it would protect there their feet. He stops at night melts some snow and lets the dog rest and feed them and get every thing ready for when they get start again. Then he at least get to sleep for 15 minutes, and than they are back on the snow. That is how the Jr. Iditarod protects the racers and the dog teams.

Dear Dad,
I am writing this letter to you because when I graduate I want to get an IPod touch. I think I deserve it because I am getting good grades, I been doing the best in school that I can , and I do all my work that I am supposed to do. I pay attention in all my classes; I get every thing done by ignoring other people around me and what they are doing. I will get to listen to music instead of talking a lot. I will get to listen to music when I am running, and I will get to take it on long trips. I will not be agreeing with my sister, I will listen to music when I clean. I hope you will get me an iPod PLEASE!

Benjamin Franklins, Big Ideas!

Benjamin Franklin had some nice and big ideas. I am going to talk and explain to you a few of them. I think you are really going to enjoy my essay!
Did you know Ben Franklin published his own Almanac? He published it in 1733 and he called it Poor Richard’s Almanac. Over a few years Benjamin Franklin was selling 10,000 copies.
Ben wanted to prove that lightning and electricity are the same. He sent a letter to European scientists to say “you should put a man in a tall house “but little” and put a rod on the top of the little house so when it rains lighting will hit it and that will made electricity. Than he can prove that they are the same thing.
Mr. Franklin went to France and talked them into fighting with the U.S. They said yes and the fought with us and we called it the “Revolutionary War”. And they agreed because they did not like England.
Now you know about some stuff about Ben Franklin. I hope you liked my essay and I hope you got some information on Ben Franklin thank you and have a wonderful day!

What I think Ben Jonson meant when he said Shakespeare “was not of an age, but for all time”? I think that Ben Jonson meant that he thought he was not young to die and that he did not want him and his plays go away. When he said, but for all time I think that he meant that the plays will go on and he will be remember forever. That is what I thought Ben Jonson meant when he said Shakespeare “was not of an age, but for all time”?

How the Everglades was made. It started with a seashell and that seashell joined with other seashells and it made a rock which was a limestone. Over eons went by and it rained and wholes went on the rock and the wholes filed with water.Over more eons that limestone turned in to land. Plants grow and animals came and that was becoming a whole environment. That is how the Everglades were made!

I think American music is sounds around me like people walking could be a beat the wind could be part of that. American music can be music that comes from America like Jazz, Pop, Rock, Country, and more. American music can almost be anything that you think it can be.
