Python problem

My current event is the Python problem with the hunting contest. This artical is about the over population of the pythons. Burmese pythons have been threatening Florida's ecosystem for years, so the state is turning to the public for help in the form of a hunting contest to lower the population of the pythons. A grand prize of $1,500 will be awarded to the person who kills the most pythons, and $1,000 will go to the person who bags the longest one. According to the rules, road kill will not be eligible. It is believed that the snakes were originally pets that found their way into Everglades National Park. The snakes prey on native wildlife such as the endangered Key Largo wood rat and the endangered wood stork. The largest prey was a 76-pound deer that was found in the stomach of a 16-foot python a few months ago. http://www.cnn.com/2012/12/06/us/florida-python-hunt/index.html?hpt=hp_c2

I think that life without pictures would be kinda boring. I think that if ther were no picture life would also be very dull and not interesting. I think that it is hard to imagine a life without pictures. There won't be funny pictures there will just be colors.

I Think that the book in the cook will end up in the wrong hands and somoeone will use it for evil. In the ned the good guys will get the book back. There will be printing presses like they had in the renaissance time period. I also think that there will be a lot of action in this book.

The science in the middles ages was not advanced. It was very practical sicence for practical problems. Their science also included the study of nature. During the medieval time period the greatest scientists and doctors did not live in Europe but, instead they all lived in the Islamic Empire. Most of the science and medical practices that Europe was using came from the Islamic region. That is the science of the middle ages.

theme essay on the dead

I recently read the book called the dead. There are many themes in this book. I think one of the themes is courage, because when the kid’s parents got sick and turned into zombies, the kids had to fend for themselves fighting through all these zombies to stay alive. They also had to scavenge for food. That takes a lot of courage to not give up and just let them eat you. They kept fighting and never gave up.

When I was playing a basketball game last Saturday, Noah just got fouled and was getting ready to shot 2 free throws. The game was 20-22 we were losing by 2 points and it all rested on Noah to make both to tie the game and go into over time. I think that he was really nervous about the free throws. I know that he knew that he had to make both of his free throws in order to go into overtime. He had a lot of pressure. Noah is at the line and he shoots but he misses, but he ends up making the second one. We ended up losing by 1 point.

We should judge them on there athletic performance. Because not all good ball players have to be a role model to be respected.

When you are in an argument when there are 2 people going at each other they could be just like making untrue statements about you. It can also be found in a setting at school when you are in a competition boy vs. girls one of the boys could say that girls are bad at sports which isn’t true plenty of girls are good at sports, some are even better than boys.

This movie is called The Girl Who Spelled Freedom and Its about the Yang family that lives in Cambodia and that are trapped in this camp and are like slaves. You also have the other family the Thrash family, they see the article in the newspaper about the war in Cambodia and how they are struggling to survive. Then The Thrash family wants to adopt the Yang family. When the Yang family arrives at Chattanooga were the Thrashes lived they didn’t know how to speak any English. The Thrashes taught them English and they became fluid English speakers. The Girl in the story that spelt freedom was Linn Yang a little girl in the Yang family. She had this special drive to always win in everything and she did. She got first place in the spelling bee! That just shows you that no matter if you live in poverty or not you can do whatever you want if you set your mind to it.

My heart was beating so fast that I thought at any second it would break a hole in my chest. I was looking around for a way out and I found a knife and remember that these guys are killers that were torturing me. I found a knife by my left foot and did I mention that I’m a black belt at karate. I found the knife and got it on the top of my shoe and I was able to through it up using my foot and catch it. When I got it in my hand those guys that I herd taking came in so I hid the knife. I was secretly cutting the rope that was holding my right hand in place though. The first guy was very small and looked like a rat and the next guy was tall and looked like a kangaroo. The 2 guys came in quiet. I was so nervous I Just now realize that I don’t remember how I got here in the first place so I end up asking the rat face guy and all he does is laugh in my face. Then the kangaroo guy told me that they were going to kill me. They both had a big smile on their faces as if they have done this before and they like killing people. The kangaroo guy got a syringe and filled it with this liquid and said that this stuff is acid and that he has seen people scream for more than 2 hours before they finally died. Now I was really scared but then finally my right hand broke free. Then when got close enough I punched him in the face really hard and he dropped to the floor. Then I got him into this special hold to where I was holding his neck and if he were to move I could do some serious damage to his neck. Then I told him to untie me. He then scrambled to his feet and as fast as he could he untied me.

what is prejudice

Usually “prejudice” refers to an unfair opinion about a person or a group of people. Have you ever heard someone say, “all girls are bad at sports”? That’s a prejudice! Plenty of girls are good at sports (some are even better than boys!) so a person who believes that all girls are bad at sports is being unfair and prejudiced. Brussels sprouts might not look or smell tasty, but how do you know unless you’ve tried them? Baseball might not seem like it’s fun to play, but until you’ve picked up a bat and taken a swing, it wouldn’t really be fair to call baseball a bad sport.

The great escape
Chapter 1 The Capture
Hi my name is Alex Smith and I’m just a normal kid who goes to school and lives a normal life. I am in my room doing my homework and talking with my friends online. I was getting tired and my friend Ford Jones was getting annoying. I knew I had to finish my project so I stayed up a little longer and finished it, and I went to bed while listening to my Iphone. I am just waking up and I’m in some sort of room and I am strapped to a chair and I couldn’t move at all. I herd some voices and they said that I was no use to them so they said to kill me and in that moment I knew I had to get out fast.

my library

I would design it by first ripping the whole library down so I can get a fresh start. I would make 15 computer stations in that library with Mac book Airs to go in the slots. I would set up 4 Ipad stations and set them up to were you just have to say what book you want and it will tell you were it is in the library. I would make it to where you just have to go up to a computer and tell it what book you are checking out and who you are. It will automatically just check it out of the library. I would put 1 robotic arm in each of the section so that once you know what section it is you can just speak into a speaker and the robotic arm would find the book and then hand it to you. I would paint it a different color like I would paint it our school colors red, black, and gold. That’s what the library should look like in my opinion.

The best things about 6th grade

I love the freedom that we get and that we get to go to the Spartan Store. I like that we have different classes and that we don’t have to stay in one class the whole day. I just really like 6th grade and I like the nicer teachers. I like the Macs that we get they are so much better than carrying around a heavy book bag to all of our classes. I like that we do most all of our work on the Macs I typing out stuff rather than writing it down. I also like the work it is more challenging than 5th grade. I like how in 6th grade that you get to learn more about Jesus. God and Jesus are awesome!!
