If My Name Could Be Anything…
If my name could be anything I would want to keep my first name just the way it is. I love my name. I love my name for many reasons:
1. It is the name that my parents have given me.
2. I think that it is a very pretty name.
3. I believe that it is the name that God wanted it to be.
4. I love its meaning.
On the other hand, I might want to change my middle name. I love my middle name, but sometimes I just think another name would work better, but I still like it.
For my last name, I love my last name as well. I really like the uniqueness of it and I also like that other people still have the last name. I love my entire name and would never want to change it (Until I get married of course!! )
My name is perfect for me, and I love it and I will keep it exactly the way it is!! I believe that my name makes me, ME!!
The End!!

What is Prejudice?

What is Prejudice?
When I think of prejudice, I think it is kind of like a rude opinion or racism. When I think of prejudice, I think of rude people who discriminate against people of a different ethnicity.
An example of prejudice would be a person who wouldn’t want to be friends with someone because they are a different nationality or they are “different”. I don’t understand why people would be so mean, because God made them just like he made you. They aren’t very different from us and just because they look different that doesn’t mean that you should be rude and prejudice towards them.
When I think of prejudice I think of the book Pride and Prejudice. Even though I never read the book, I hear about it everywhere. I hope to read soon.
Another version of prejudice could a person who is jealous of another person because they might have something that they want. Prejudice is not a good a thing and I hope that there isn’t any of it is shown to others as much as it was in past time.
That is what prejudice means to me.

My story is that I was born is Rogers, Arkansas on December 3, 1999. I have an older sister named Paige. When I was little I moved constantly. I remember barley living in one place for over a year. Then I came to Georgia. I thought that this would like any other move. I would start a new school, make new friends, and soon enough I would have to move again. This move wasn’t like that. I moved here the summer before first grade. I loved the new house we were living in and when I visited the new school I was going to I thought I was so pretty. When the first day of school came, I met really nice people and loved the school right away. The school’s name is Greater Atlanta Christian School. Five years have past and I am still here. At the same school, with the same people, and with the same teachers. Every year is a new experience for me. I make new friends and I have a new teacher, but this year is going to be different for me. So much different. In the elementary school you would be in one class with the same people 7 hours a day, but this year you barley see any of your elementary friends as much as you used to. This is a really good opportunity to start making new friends and not have to rely on the same people. Continuing my story I want to say that I went to GACS all the way up until the end of my senior year and I’m starting to go of to college. I couldn’t have asked for a better story for me. I love friends, family, and teachers.

The Best Thing About Sixth Grade!

The best thing about sixth grade is the freedom. In sixth grade we are trusted so much more than we were in fifth grade. I love being able to not have to walk in lines and I’m able to talk with my friends in the halls. Being trusted to walk to places like lunch and classes in different buildings on campus is a great feeling. With that freedom also comes responsibility, if you are trusted to walk to different buildings on campus for a class you have to know where that building and what room the class is in. I love that I can have my own locker that is mine (for this school year) but when you have your own locker it is your responsibility to know the combination and know how to use that combination to open your locker. Another thing about freedom is being trusted to keep up with all your homework and doing a good job. Being trusted to do harder work you have keep up with it and learn it.
