In baseball I was on third base with 2 out.One of our players was up to bat, and we were down by one. He took the first pitch. Than took the second pitch. Then missed the third pitch he struck out and we lost. It must have been a lot of pressure.

Role Models

Article posted January 18, 2012 at 07:50 PM GMT • comment (2) • Reads 248

I think we should judge mlb players not by how they perform. I think we should have more role models on the field than good players. It is good to be a good influence. You could be a excelent player but not be a good role model. You should have respect on and off the field.

Where does prejudice take place?

Article posted January 11, 2012 at 07:48 PM GMT • comment (4) • Reads 273

At school people are prejudice to some people if they do not look like them. Sometimes of the way they talk or there weaknesses. In other countries people are prejudice of the way people look or if they are not very good at sports. People can be prejudice when other people are not as good at something as they are or if they do things weirder than everyone else.

Chapter 2
At first he was stunned but then he saw that his leg was broken to. He said to himself that is weird. The days with his cast were bad and he could not wait until he was out of the cast. When he was out of the cast he went to the store to get some bubble gum.
A month later he started to play baseball again. At first he could barely throw the ball from second base to first base. Then he progressed and got to play shortstop a little bit. He hit last in the lineup and struck out every time. When he cut himself he put a band aid on it and went to bed.
In the morning his mom woke him up and reminded him about the game today. He got up and got ready. CRACK! The crowd cheered it was his first hit of the year. As peter rounded the bases he watched the ball sail over the fence. HOMERUN!

Chapter 1
There was this boy named Peter Kelly. When he was little, his parents divorced. He went to go live with his mom. 2 weeks later his dad died in a car crash. Before Peter’s dad died his dad taught him baseball. He told him the basic rules and played with him. This is where the story begins.
“WOOHOO”, yelled the crowd as the ball sprung into the air. It was in the ninth 2 outs and the bases loaded. The ball was coming right at him. Then all of the sudden everything went black. When he woke up he was at the operating room, and he could not feel his right arm. Then his mother explained that he had fell on his right arm and broke it.
Will I ever play baseball again he thought to himself. This can not be happening his mother also said that he had been unconscious. Just then he felt something weird in his leg when he got up after the operating session he zoomed out of the room in a instant.

How would I design the library of the future..

Article posted September 30, 2011 at 02:04 PM GMT • comment (2) • Reads 985

It would have a desk at the front with my name on it. It would have Georgia Tech pictures everywhere and would have a restaurant inside. It would have a indoor playground and shelves full of books. You would have to type in the name and it would appear in your hand. There would automatically be a date on the book and you would have to return it by saying return and it would disappear.

What is Prejudice

Article posted September 16, 2011 at 02:31 PM GMT • comment (1) • Reads 1003

Prejudice is to dislike someone or something just because of how they look or talk. The Americans used to have been very prejudice against the African Americans and made them slaves which is very bad. We should think about being prejudice every day. If we see a person and they do not look like us we should like them just the way they are. We should like him or her just the way there character traits are. We should love one and other.

My Story is....

Article posted September 9, 2011 at 02:11 PM GMT • comment (1) • Reads 1025

The story is when I was little I did not like to go outside I just did not like sports at all. My story of sports starts right now. I was at the kitchen table when my dad said that we were going to a Dunwoody High School basketball game at first I did not know what he was talking about but then he told me what it was.
When we got to the game we went to a parking space and parked the car. When we got to the basketball court we started to watch the game. There was a player on Dunwoody high that was really good he plays at Georgia now. His name was Nick Swansee and he was extremely good.
He made almost every shot he took and he ruled the basketball court. The next day I was outside shooting hoops and having fun. That is my story and I have been playing sports since then.
