Prissy Thrash

            In the movie The Girl Who Spelled Freedom there was a lady named Prissy. Prissy is an older lady. In the beginning of the story she didn’t really think it would be a good idea for her and her family to have 6 extra kids in the house. She told her husband, George, that she wasn’t good with kids and that she wouldn’t be able to handle them all alone. They ended up taking the family in anyway. At first Prissy really wasn’t able to communicate with them because she couldn’t speak their language. She didn’t enjoy having them around much. Then George started to teach the kids English. It was a little easier to communicate with them then. In the end Prissy loved the family as her own.
