I know that I can change the world with the help of God, and that's what I intend to do. I am really interested on going on mission trips to Haiti and Africa, and places like that. I hope that on these mission trips, that I can find a country or city I really connect to. Once I find a place that needs my help, and that I love, then I will try to visit and serve as often as I can. I would want to get to know the country, history, and traditions. This would help me to get to know more of what the people of the country know and practice. My main goal is the spread the word of God all over and serve as many people as I can everyday.

The current event I chose was the new king in Amsterdam, Holland. This topic interested me because I have been to Amsterdam before. This week, the Netherlands got there first king in over 120 years. THis is because the queen decided to step down and become princess. Back in the Renaissance, events such as this happen all of the time. I think that anything to do with royalty is very interesting, I like to hear about the royal news. I can see how it would be a big deal to a country to get a new king or queen, just like it is a big deal to Americans when we get a new President. However, I do not like the idea of actually having a king or queen as a ruler, and I am very glad the US doesn't have one. I might have felt differently during the Renaissance, because pretty much all big countries had a King, Emperor, Dictator, or something like that.

IS THERE A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN RELIGION AND SPIRITUALITY? EXPLAIN AND INCLUDE DETAILS.
I believe that there certainly is a difference between religion and spirituality. I think that religion is what you chose to believe in. I think that spirituality is how well you are connected to God. However, I believe that region and spirituality have a lot to do with each other. Religion is a lot broader. Being spiritual is more personal and close to your heart. Being religious and spiritual are both very important!

What is Culture?

I think that culture is a way of life for people. I think that everybody and place has a different culture. In America, I believe its a pretty laid back culture. There is a lot of busyness in family's life, but we live in a safe country with out a lot of specific rules and stuff. In some countries it seems like the culture is more constant parties and ceremonies and everything is based on religion. Culture is a lifestyle in my opinion.

Hunger Games Summary
By: Kaci Anderson
The Hunger Games book was one of the best books I have ever read. It was about a courageous girl named Katniss and her bad experience at something called the Hunger Games. These games are a punishment for rebellion that happened years ago, but the current citizens of Panem’s districts the ones that are being punished. Katniss is brave and when her sister is going to be punished, she takes her place. Katniss and her friend Peeta are brave and prepared for the Hunger Games. Will they win or will they die?

I personally believe that all atheles should be role models just as much as they are good at the sport. This is very important because people (kids esspecially) look up to sports super stars and want to be like them. People will act like the sports star in every catagory. If the athlete is mean, then the people who look up to him will be mean. That would not be good. That is why it is important to have good character, especially when the sotlight is on you.

Prejudice Today?

I think that prejudice is all around us whether we realize it or not. Prejudice is everywhere. In schools, out in the public, and even in our own homes. We all think of prejudice as just something that happened in the civil rights movement, but it is still just as bad today. People judging each other is not good, and we can help making it end by making sure it is not going on where we are.
