How do you get better @ reading - BY READING!!!
Room 21's first 25 night's of reading certificate was presented this week; congratulations Menna!
PLEASE can I encourage you all to read for at least 10 minutes a night with your child...it is such an important key which unlocks so many doors when a child can read - I know that we all lead busy lives ( I have x2 boys myself aged 6 and 10) but I would really encourage you to read and discuss their books daily...the rewards are endless.

HUGE apologies, but it has been such a busy Term 1 so far and with 28 AWESOME children (and Kevin the Kiwi) to juggle this new academic year the blog has only just been updated.
We have had an interesting few weeks getting to know each other in Rm 21, and it was really appreciated by myself and the children when so many of you came along to see our fantastic Art Exhibition "Who's Who @ Lynmore" on Friday 2/3. We will continue our art topic(collage)in conjunction with our new "Sports" topic which is in preparation for Run Bike Run and Junior Sports Day.
