Rainy Days
Roaring sounds filling the air
Dripping noises in my ear
Sparkling showers all around
Icy bubbles on the ground
Drizzling noises everywhere
I think it knows I am here
The sound of pitter patter is in my mind
Its icy touch is not my kind
All inside as cozy as sheep
But some will happen to be asleep
It’s raining cats and dogs
My shoes are outside waterlogged
Its showers are threatening me
By this time Mrs Dunn will be having tea
The rain is coming down, down
It’s also drenching the whole town
It is as cold as an ice rink
It is making it hard for me to think
An icy blanket wrapped her arms around me
I fell into my bed and I was now free
