What is it???
It's often translated as ‘a place to stand’. Tūrangawaewae are places where we feel especially empowered and connected. They are our foundation, our place in the world, our home.

Among Young Earth creationists, who believe man and dinosaurs (along with all other land animals) were made on day 6 of Creation Week, Behemoth is commonly identified as possibly being a sauropod dinosaur[5] which lived in Biblical times.

Where do I start? Ahhh.... Beau wanted to post on his blog.
1st - when I refreshed; his article wouldn't pop-up
2nd - Beau wanted to post a game (I thought it was a grand idea as I had never done this & I wanted more practice technology/ideas); but it was as if his games never existed and Beau couldn't understand (Hey! I couldn't understand but hey I couldn't tell him that!) I didn't understand why either!
3rd - We tried to post a picture "Ice Ninja" from Google images...
Then 6 viruses were detected on 'shared docs'; 7 viruses detected on 'My docs' and 11 viruses detected on HARD DRIVE.
Uhmmm....

Needed to blog from laptop... sitting watching movie with the children.
I found a cable (like a telephone line) that had matching ends in the computer drawer last week - not sure where it came from but left it there for the moment.
Today I thought, I should be blogging but want to hang out with chn on the couch, got the laptop out, thought about that cord... unplugged blue cord from modem on home computer. Used cord foundin the drawer from the other day plugged to modem on one side and to laptop on the other side and loaded-up Chrome.Yupee! It works! Chrome works!

I was having trouble using my email account. I called Telecom and spoke to a technician (11th April 2010). The technician told me to move it to another place... so I transferred to gmail (as memory is big). No change... then he told me to open it... thatdownload cost me dearly!
1) Computer kept trying to open email + would FAIL. It would continue to retry in a repeatitive manner.
2) Large email continued to retry sending still by the 14th April 2010. This caused my email account to freeze-up, as well as, lock me out of any other internet pathway.
3) Ashwin - broadband campaign- calls to tell me I've gone over my alloted amount of internet usage (i.e. over 1 GB). This is my package and agreement.
I explained the situation and he says to REGISTER a complaint as I have the case/ref # on that dealing (22152966). So I did. I found outabout properties - that email was 5783 KB. The new technician told me the past technician should have told me to DELETE the email otherwise these problems would arise. I was misinformed.
Conclusion: Check "properties" on any emails coming from the chn's school.

1) Independent internet access - use "T" stick via Telecom or "vodem" via Vodofone. I cannot afford a plan but it is quite common to get a prepaid stick (USB pencil) for $30/month. Good for travelling.
2) Laptops: HP and Toshiba most reliable, ACER ok too. A2GB Ram is baseline but 4GB more realistic! Need HARDDRIVE to be 500GB and a video card 512MB of dedicated memory (i.e no sharing between programs although one computer specialist says dedicated/shared memory issue is no longer a problem - technological advances).
3) Found ICONs on right bottom of computer. I thought my speakers fried and could no longer listen to music I've ripped to computer. Not the case! Speaker icon had a red circle on it - i pressed this and I can hear music again. I can tell that internet connection is on too!
Awesome! Today i'm winning!

I feel judged and labelled for being a Saturday worshipper...
Found some very pertinent information...
First- Nehemiah 13:19 "Then I commanded that the gates of Jerusalem should be shutas darkness fell every Friday evening, not to be opened until the Sabbath ended". Bible
Second- It was in A.D. 364. The Council of Laodicea stipulated that the church had changed the day of rest from the seventh day to the first day of the week.
Third- Roman Catholics... "the church... substituted the observance ofSunday... for the observance of Saturday... a change for which there is no Scriptural authority" (Steven Keenan, A Doctrinal Catechism, p. 174).
It's something to contemplate...

What do you value??? Youth or Wisdom?
For me... Spiritual learning gives way to emotional maturity-
Reading the Word for Today...
I found inspiration in reading a passage (Ecclesiastes 12:1-5) given by this booklet. It says we need to be realistic... it's silly for a woman to recreate what she hasn't been for decades or a man to recreate the macho image.
Gosh! Why don't people take the time to read the Bible?? The answers to LIFE and LIVING are all there. The Bible says, we're gonna get old... acceptance is emotional maturity. Even after all the operations, botox injections and money spent... you'll still age. By the way, you'll always know how old they are - just look at their necks. Apparently you can't get Botox there.
I don't have my youth's looks, shape or speed so I've decided to follow Jesus and stay mainstream. I'm working on growing in WISDOM!

I feel like a butterfly. I've come out to learn about all the technology that's evolved in the last 5 years! I was in a cocoon, living alone raising two babies and had no computer for 5 years.
Overwhelmed!
