Swimming is the best sport I have liked.

I woke up and I looked around and screamed. I saw something, it was scary. Suddenly it just ran straight past me. But what was it? I closed my eyes and tried to go to sleep. I couldn’t sleep. My blankets were slowly coming down. I was asking myself silly questions like, could it be a ghost or could my house be haunted? I knew I was just being silly.
I ran down to the living room to see if mum and dad were still there, but they went to bed. When I was in bed they were watching Paranormal Activity and when they went to bed they left the T.V on. The phone rang. I answered it and it was Uncle Rob. He said that our house was haunted. I was right!
I went for the door but it was locked, so I tried to climb out the window but it kept locking too, so I couldn’t get out. I was trapped inside the house. I saw something blow out the fire. It was dark. I walked into the bathroom and I looked in the bath and screamed. I looked at the mirror - it had a message on it and it said “10 seconds I’m coming to get you”.
Just then I heard the door slam. I heard footsteps coming up the steps. I quickly ran and hid under my blankets. I was terrified. He was counting “1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9” but before he said ten he quickly burst into my room and said “I know you’re in here”. He walked out and saw mum and dad wake up for work. So he quickly disappeared.
In the morning mum was in the shower and dad was getting ready to go to work. That night when I was in bed I saw a dark figure on my wardrobe. So I went down stairs into the basement. It was dark and scary. I heard footsteps coming down. I ran and hid in my secret hideout. I was too slow because the ghost saw me so I ran into mum and dad’s room and slept until the morning. In the morning the ghost was gone.
I told mum and dad everything but they did not believe me.

Dear Mum and Dad,

I am very sad because a Turk shot my friend. I grabbed my gun and shot that Turk.

It is very cramped in this trench. I want to come home. This is very scary, and I am missing you.

We eat biscuits that are as hard as rock, and we eat bully beef and drink tea. I have lice all over me.

It is awful being stuck inside this trench for eight months. Right now me and my friends are setting up barbed wire so then the Turks won't be able to come close to the trench.

For tea we have bully beef stew. I have been hit by a shell and I have bandages on my legs. I am okay. We built a roof over our trench and I feel safer now. I picked a poppy and I am going to keep it forever.

Yesterday I went to Splash Planet with my cousins Alisha, Wikitoria, Manawa, Katarina, and Kelsey.We had so much fun.Then on Saturday me my mum and dad went to Rainbow Fairy Springs. We saw the morepork.Then we went on the big splash and it was fun because we went down a steep hill.I went on it five times with my mum and dad.Those were my birthday presents from my mum and dad.

My Dream Holiday. I went to a jungle and saw a monkey. Then I went to a river and saw a crocodile it was chasing us to the forest and all the way to a church filled with hundreds of people. The crocodile scared most people. Everyone dropped their things like hats, handbags and jerseys. The crocodile was still chasing us but we ran back to the house and went out the other door but the crocodile was there we ran under the crocodile and we were safe. The crocodile saw a cheater and the cheater was running on the edge of the river and the crocodile jumped out of the water and that was funny when he jumped out of the river. Then we walked back home and we were happy to be home but we heard a sound and looked out the window and the crocodile died. That was the end of the crocodile.

My Dream Holiday
I was on the plane and I was going to Auckland. It took for long. I stayed at my Nanas in Auckland. Then I went to the royal wedding. My favourite part was going to my Nanas and going to Rainbows End.
My really favourite part was going to the royal wedding. It was fun.
