We are a Yr 3 and 4 class and we live in an active volcano.... really! We love our city, with its geysers, mud pools, and thermal swimming. We love to find out about our country and the world, and are learning about blogging.

Dear Mum and Dad,
I am in war and some of us have been shot at. I am really sad. I am digging a trench, and it is a sunny day.
I thought it was going to be cool, but it is muddy and there are lice on all of us. I have to eat bully beef and hard biscuits.
I have killed ten men, and my best friend has been killed by a shell. I nearly got killed.
For dinner we are having bully beef again.

My Dream Holiday
I had a cool holiday because my family and I got to go to the Auckland Museum and I beat my Mum.
It was cool at the Auckland Museum and my family and I got to go to the area where there was a kiwi.
There were heaps of fish there as well as other things too.

The Wedding

On Saturday I went to a wedding. It was my Mum and Dad's wedding. My brother's Darius, Hoani and I were dressed in black skinny jeans and black and white dress shirts. We all wore our green stones and we all had black shoes that mum had just bought for us. We had a big cake with white icing all around it. On the inside of the cake it was chocolate with chocolate bits in it, it was so yummy that we ate it all!. I liked it when they did the speeches, my mum and my grandad thanked everyone for coming. We were at the Princes Gate Hotel and after everything had finished my brothers and I with some other friends that were there played tiggy in the Hotel and we didn't get into any trouble. We got to sleep in one of the top rooms that had a balcony. It was very cool.
