This week in Music Technology I have made a loop.  I made the loop using an iPad.  Now I am trying to make a song on the piano that will go with the loop.  So far the song sounds good.

This week in Music Technology I am still working on the same things as last week in making my own song things are starting to piece together a little better.  This project is much harder than I thought it would be.  But it is still my favorite class.

In Music Technology I am starting a project where I make my own song!  Right now I am working on making loops and recording me playing the piano live so I can have my own music inside my song.  It sounds fun but I have learned it is not exactly easy.  It is really hard to beat match and make sounds that sound good with each other. 

There is three things I like to do best play softball, basketball, and piano.  I really like piano the best because I love music.  Music is a big part of me and I l practice it every day so I can get better.  I really put a lot of time into it because I have big plans to some day be really good at piano!

            This week my mom went to the store and bought ice cream!  She actually bought three different flavors: pistachio, chocolate chip, and mint chocolate chip.  My favorite kind is mint chocolate chip.  I think that all ice cream is good and doesn't matter what flavor it is.  About two weeks ago we made strawberry cupcakes with chocolate and strawberry icing for my Dad's birthday.  I got really excited because they are my favorite.  I really don't know why I'm so excited but it is a good treat.

This week I had fun because I had two days off of school.  On Tuesday I went to the movie with my friend and the movie was really funny.  On Wednesday I went outside and played with my dog for a really long time and I enjoyed the really nice weather we are having.  On Thursday a really big basketball tournament started.  My team won their first game of the tournament and it was really exciting.  Today is spirit day at school I got to where my basketball shirt.  I'm most excited for spring to come soon though because I'm really starting to get tired of this really cold weather and I want spring to come but I really want summer to come. 

In music tecnogy I have been working on a short music clip using creative commens licensed sound effects and music.  I have been putting them together in audacity.  I have relized that it is not as easy as it looks when putting music together.  It is always fun exploring new ways to play with music!
