Summer!!!
Hello! This may be my last blog for now at least. Well I’m pretty sure I’ve improved a lot this year and this semester. Like I go to having 2 A’s and now having straight A’s. My writing has gotten so much better meaning I have added humor and have started to really enjoy my stories and I like to read them at night. I use to always hate writing and that was because I just couldn’t get the mind of a reader or maybe the author. Writing, everyone thinks they’re good at it but Mrs. Crosby’s the grader of that. But anyways I think everyone could keep practicing writing you can never just stop because you’re absolutely perfect, because you never will be. I feel that at the beginning of 5th grade that I have started to enjoy everything. I mean I use to be bad at reading too and now that I’m reading at home and a lot at school and for homework it’s just amazing! And now I love it! I use to not be doing my homework like kind a in a schedule but for as last minute like I wouldn’t start reading our book for homework until like Wednesdays and Thursdays too some times. I also feel I have gotten better at spelling. I have tried harder when I’m sounding them out and for spelling test I have actually started to study instead of just wing it at the last second. And it has helped having dictionary races( that’s when you try to bet Mrs. Crosby by finding the word that you need in the dictionary whoever wins gets to read the definition) So it’s usually Mrs. Crosby! I have also gotten better at social studies I love it now! I love all the types of history and things that were in this year. It’s been great fun being in the congress when I’m just 10! I’ve enjoyed this year and last year with you Mrs. Crosby and I have loved all you have taught me!!!
Heading towards summer I’m so excited! Well after school gets out the first 2 weeks I will be celebrating my birthday! Then I will be jumping in the car on a 12 hour drive to San Diego to see all of my dad’s family members. Then when I get back it will be in July and there’s my sisters birthday then my cousins then my sisters then my other cousin! Then I’m jumping on a plane with my grandma and was flying to Georgia to see my aunt! Then right when I get back I have to jump in the car and take a 14 hour drive to Utah! To see my mom’s sister! Then I get back about 2 weeks after I’m going to my soccer tournament in Virginia! My summer is going to be packed so I need to remember to blog when I can and maybe send pictures!!!
