My summer so far
Hey fellow bloggers! Since Mrs. Crosby asked me to tell her about my hippie class, I am going to tell you about it... under one rule... you have to promise that you will not become jealous. So are you up for the challenge? Okay, let's start from the beginning. The first day we made origami :), we made a bunny, a sailboat, a butterfly and a frog that could actually jump. On the second day of my hippie class, oh no, does it sound like I'm singing the twelve days of christmas? Anyway on the second day we made soap! I made soap that is purple and is in the shape of a heart, and a rectangle that is pink and blue swirl. It turned out very cool. On the third day we painted picture frames. Mine has polka-dots and paint splatters on it and is very colorful. The fourth day we did tie-dying. I picked out a tank top that has lace and buttons on it. I chose to do the spiral pattern in blue and purple because they had no pink :(. On Friday after waiting for what felt like forever we got to see how our shirts turned out and it was totally awesome! Also we got to make candles, which turned out very cool!
On Saturday my dad and I saw the new Transformers movie in 3-D. There was a lot of explosions and some really cool monsters like Shockwave. Those of you who are going to see it I don't want to ruin it for you so I will be quiet. Also I am reading a very good book called The Sisters Grimm. It is about two girls that are orphans that are sent to live with their grandma. Soon they find out they had two famous ancesters. Who were fairytale detectives! There is a lot more but it is very hard to explain so if you want to find out what it is about you will have to read it. Well that's all for today. Happy 4th!
