There is a reason of why the title of this blog is called The End. It is because this is the last blog that I will ever be typing on crosbyville.
Let me tell you a little bit about my 5th grade school year. I really improved on a lot of things in math. I learned about multiplying fractions, dividing fractions, least common multiple, greatest common factor, prime factorization,PEMDAS, converting fractions into precents, converting fractions into decimals, converting percents into decimals, converting percents into fractions, converting decimals into fractions, converting decimals into percents, multiplting negative numbers, dividing negative numbers, subracting negative numbers, tricks to see if a number goes into another number, short division, and many other things that involve math. Even though math had always been my best subject, Mrs.Crosby made it even better by teaching my class all of these things.
Before I end the blog, let me tell you about something that I am going to do over the summer. You might remember last year when I went to Montana to visit my cousins. Well guess what. I am going there again. This time it will be much more fun. Some of you that read the blog that I typed over the summer last year heard that in Montana, I had a lot of huckleberry things. I had huckleberry lickerich, a huckleberry shake, a huckleberry smoothie, huckleberry frozen zogurt, and many more. This time, I am sure that people in Montana are going to invent more huckleberrry things. If they have any, I will have huckleberry rasberries, a huckleberry sandich, huckleberry lemonade, who knows. Perhaps this time, I might actually try huckleberries.
But that is not the only thing that I am going to do in Montana. My cousins love zip lining. In fact, I went zip lining with them last year. I am sure that I will get to zip line again. There is just one bad thing about Montana, and that is MOSQUITOS. I hate mosquitos, but many of them are in Montana, just waiting for you to come outside so they can just take out a part of your blood and replace it with their poison. Last year I counted, and I got 35 mosquito bites!
This is officially the end of my blogging. I have been making blogs for the past two years and there were very good times. I went from AWKARD all the way to The End. I know for a fact that I will definitely miss all of my classmates and Mrs.Crosby as I move on to summer and 6th grade. This is the end of my blogging, but my blogging soul will still live on.

I am going to tell you about five words. Incase you wanted to know what these five words are, I am going to tell you them. The five words are teamwork, risk, kindness, soul, and diversity. After I tell you these words, I will tell you how the word connects with saving sea turtles.
Let me start off with the word teamwork. The correct definition for the word teamwork is a cooperative effort by the members of a group or team. Many people teamed up to help sea turtles from having to face death. They are wonderful creatures that have lived on Earth for many years and a lot of people think that the turtles time should not be up before becoming extinct.
The second word is risk. The word risk, means the possibility of suffering harm or loss. Many people take the risk of possibly losing their jobs because of spending all their time trying to save the sea turtles which might be related crocodiles and even birds.
Being friendly, generous, or warm-hearted in nature is the definition of kindness, which is the third word that I told you the definition of. I do not know about you, but I definetly think that saving the Kemp's Ridley sea turtle from becoming extinct takes a lot of kindness.
The fourth word, soul, is a similar word to kindness and risk.In other words, it is following the heart, usually in a good way. If you want to convince to your friend that you have great soul, I suggest that you should save the Kemp's Ridley sea turtles from becoming extinct.
The last word is diversity. Diversity is the fact of quality of being diverse. In other words, diversity means difference. Many diverse kinds of people decided to team up and help the Kemp's Ridley sea turtles from becoming extinct.

Before you start reading this blog, I am going to warn you that it is not going to be as long as my average blog would usually be, mostly because my lack of free time. Anyway, this particular blog is going to be about a text to self on a book that is called, The Witch of Blackbird Pond.
In this book, a character with the name of Katherine, known as Kit, had to move from Barbados to Connecticut and had to deal with it.
I also had to deal with a new situation in my live before. My cousins with the names of Luke, Jack, Ty, and a baby boy named Vance, moved from Los Angeles all the way to Montana. Obviously, my cousins had to deal with it way more than I had to, because they were the ones that actually moved, but it was still weird for me in a couple of ways. First of all, you would not believe how much times my family came to visit theirs when they lived in Los Angeles. But in Montana, it was very rare.
Although, I dealt with it by constanlty texting them way more often than I did when they were in LA, even though it was sort of different because they moved to where there is a different time zone.

Usually I would get the best presents from my parents, because they know what I would want for Christmas more than any else. But it was a little bit different this year. My favorite presents came from a very good friend of mine. Before I tell you who this person is, I will give you three hints and you will try to guess this person. The first hint is that this person will move to Las Vegas in a few months. Secondly, this person is the best Go Kart rider I know. Even though this hint is the last hint, it does not reveal to much. His name is Jeremy. No. You guessed wrong. The answer is not Justin Bieber. Why would he give me the best Christmas present?
The correct answer is my friend Jeremy. Because of Jeremy moving to Las Vegas shortly, he had to sell some of his items. Luckily for me, I got to have some of them. Even though his family sold them to us at a very high price, it was still a supercalafrajolisticexpealodosious gift. In case you did not know what that really long word means, the definition for that is very wonderful. I do not mean that the definition of that word is a very wonderful definition. I mean that very wonderful is the definition of the word.
Anyway, I'm going to tell you about the things that Jeremy gave me. First of all, they gave us a ping pong table. In case you did not know, ping pong is the 4th best sport in the world, in my opinion. Secondly, even though I am pretty sure that secondly is not a word, I got a pool table. Even though I would not put pool in the top rankings in sports, I still play it a lot when I am to tired to play ping pong. Lastly, I got a skee ball table. It is so fun because it is like miniture bowling. I really like bowling. That is all for this blog. I really have to go to bed. Bye:P.

World War II

WHAT/WHEN/WHERE
World War II was a global conflict lasting from September of 1939 to 1945. This war involved most of the worlds nations to form two opposing military alliances. The two alliances were called the Allies and the Axis. This very prevalent war was the most widespread war in history. It was also the deadliest conflict in human history. The people that died were not only the soldiers, because there were also a number of civilians that had to face death. But World War II didn’t only break two records in history. It was also the only use of nuclear weapons in the history of warfare. World War II had about 50 million to over 700 million fatalities.
WHY/WHO
This War was started by the invasion of Poland by Germany. Germany started to conquer much of continental Europe, setting out to establish a large empire in Europe. All of this conquering by Germany was under the power of one really famous Nazi. His name was Adolf Hitler. In 1941, Japan had been at war with China since 1937, and aimed to dominate Asia. They attacked the United States and European possessions in the Pacific Ocean, quickly conquering much of the region. That was why World War II even occurred, and who was in it.
EFFECT
First of all, because of this being the deadliest war in history, it really affected the population of people, not only in the United States, but world wide. Especially the Jewish population. Lots of the Jewish died because Adolf Hitler, one of the German Nazi, tried to kill all of the Jewish people. This also affected the world in if their friends with other countries, or foes. That is actually a big part of discrimination on peoples race.

Bigger Presents First

It was last Christmas in 2010. This Christmas was a little bit different from the other years. The reason of why it was not the same as the other Christmas's was because of there being a difference of opening presents. Right now, what you have read so far, you might of not understood. The main reason of why this might have not made any since to you, is because of the part when I talked about the difference between Christmas in 2010, and all the other years. This next paragraph will make this paragraph make since. You will see why.
In Christmas in 2009 and all of the other years before, I would always open the bigger presents first. I would do that because typically, at my house, the bigger the present, the better the present. I would be really anxious to open the big ones. But in the year 2010, I decided to open the smaller presents first. I did that because when I open them, I would realize that the presents would get better, each time I opened a present. Just so you know, the moral of this story is definitely not the last is the best. One of the small presents that I opened, was a controller for an xbox. I said, " Seriously. I get a controller for an xbox without an xbox." I obviously knew that I was going to get an xbox because of the controller. That really gave it away, and I don't like things that give other things away. Usually, I would know what I get for Christmas because it is all I ever tell my mom in December. But I actually did not know that I would get an xbox. So it is obvious that the moral of this blog is to always open the big presents first (it is obvious because it's my title).

The Blog/ Reading Assignment

Hello people that read my blogs. This blog will be not only a blog, but it will also be a reading assignment for school. I'm sorry to say this but, fellow blogging friends out there in the cyberspace, this will have more to do with getting a good grade in reading than entertaining you. Although it might entertain you a little bit. Any way, get prepared for something that will be a good grade in school, and be slightly fun to read.
This assignment will have to do with text to self connections from a book called Family Tree. One day I was having dinner at my friends house. I ask what we are going to have for dinner, and my friend said, " Oh no! It's spoiled." And then I was like, " Well, I usually know what I'm going to have for dinner before I have dinner any way." Obviously, I thought he meant spoiled, as in, we know what we are going to have for dinner. It was the wrong kind of spoiled. So of course he said, " No stupid. I didn't mean that kind of spoiled."
Connecting the last paragraph to the book, when the teacher assigned Tyler to make a family tree, it was not the easiest thing in the world for her. Her mom was not alive, so she did not know anything about her mom's side. Since this family tree was a big part of her grade, Tyler thought that she would flunk sixth grade if she did not have a family tree.

Today in class there was an assignment where I had to choose four topics of problems in the community that I am most interested in learning more about. Then I had to find the information regarding my four choices. Next on the directions, it said that I had to write a short paragraph or response for each choice. After that, I had to show the teacher my writing. My fifth responsibility was to take home the paragraphs to think about which which one I would like to make as my topic for the year long project. Lastly, I had to blog about telling what my choice is and why I chose it. The blog is on the next paragraph.
The topic that I decided to use for the year long project is war. War is a state of armed conflict between different nations or states or different groups within a nation or state. For example, the Civil War, World War 1, World War 2, etc.
One of the reasons of why I chose this topic will be explained on this paragraph. The next two reasons will be explained on the next two paragraphs. On my Xbox, I have many games that have to do with war, particularly Call Of Duty.
Because of my video games, I will be very familiar with the things that I study. That would be the second reason of why I want to use this topic for my project.
With all the action and the guns, war is a topic that has to with very enjoyable and exciting research. Since when has researching
something in school been enjoyable and exciting!!!!

I like mechanical pencils much better than normal pencils [in case you did not notice, I am not doing an introduction paragraph]. First of all, the ink is way thinner in mechanical than normal pencils. That means that your handwriting is neater and you can write smaller if you have to write in a small space. Secondly [if secondly is a word], if you are doing a timed test, what would happen if you broke your pencil [you would have to get up and sharpen it]? The only way to solve that problem is to use a mechanical pencil [or a back up pencil, unless the back up pencil breaks also]. Third of all, mechanical pencils have way cooler designs instead of just being plain yellow, orange, or black.
As you can tell, my blog is over fifty times shorter than it would be if I had an introduction paragraph [that was a slight exaggeration]. By the way, even thinking about this blog makes me mad because I don't even have any mechanical pencils. Anyway, get ready for the next blog, coming soon, on Crosbyville.
PS: This blog felt very uncomfortable without an introduction. Because of my lack of comfort, from now on I will do an introduction paragraph [unless you threaten me not to].
