Summer Vacation.

Article posted June 1, 2012 at 03:13 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 279

This summer is going to be awesome. I am going on a major road trip from Seattle to Washington. We are to have all sorts of fun this year. My mom and I are going to Lake Tahoe with a house boat. He are going to live there for a week with our jetskiis. When ever we go jetskiing me and my brothers always race around on the water. I am sort of a speed devil so I sometimes go up to 60 M.P.H. It is pretty cool.
With my dad, we are going to a remote location for 2 weeks. We are going to try and survive of the land like we were survivors from a plane crash or something. We are going to take only a few supplies but we are going to have a car with supplies just in case. As many of you know I have a big family. So you are probably wondering why I'm doing this alone with my parents. Well, my dad and my brothers always go camping together and I am always left behind with my step mom. So I decided I could get some quality camping time with my dad. The reason why I am alone with my mom because my brothers are interning at a camp. I love swimming and going out on the lake. Bye!!!

P.S
I will try to report all the fun I have had during summer.
P.P.S This is the LAST blog of the school year.
P.P. P.S Bye!

Hard Work

Article posted June 1, 2012 at 03:03 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 62

One thing I know I have improved on is getting the work done. I have worked so very hard this year and Mrs.Crosby has helped me to do it. For the last few years, I have always been willy nilly because I have been super bored. This year was different. I have gotten straight A's all year! I have been such a hard worker because Mrs.Crosby works so hard for me and the rest of the students in my class. Yesterday I do have to admit I was willy nilly but Mrs.Crosby got me back on track. Sometimes work can be very hard. This week I had to right a big summary on this huge book and that was why I was willy nilly. I was all over the place talk ing to people but when Mrs.Crosby always sent me to my seat I always got at least a paragraph done before going and talking again. Sometimes I get up to ask questions on the book but sometimes I just wanted to talk to people. Other class mates of mine have also tried to keep me on task but it is even pretty hard for them to keep me on task. My imagination is wild. Hard work is a very important thing in life. It is used every where. From cleaning your room, to building the Empire State Building hard work is always there. That is what I have improved on this year all because Mrs.Crosby has always been there me to keep me on track.

Turtles

Article posted May 4, 2012 at 12:31 AM GMT0 • comment • Reads 76

I like to make connections, and today I was asked to make connections with a book called Saving the Sea Turtles. First connection is to the word team work. I feel this connection when people work together to keep the sea turtles from dying and getting eaten. Soul is another connection and I feel this when the people cared enough to spend their time saving a whole other species. Kindness is yet another word and I feel this when this when the people are gentle and caring as they help the baby turtles into the ocean. Turtles are very diverse. Diversity is what keeps people apart set it keeps them together. When people go out to help sea turtles from getting extinct, they get over diversity and help them as if they were another human being. Finally risk. Risk is all over when the little turtles make their way to the sea. They might get eaten by seagulls on their way to the ocean and when their in the ocean the place is swimming with predators like sharks and such.

New Situation

Every year I get a new situation by getting a new teacher. I became expected. This year it came out of the blue because I rolled up with a new teacher! I really liked my teacher and I was really surprised. It was easily difficult to settle down on the same classroom as before. It was a new, and intriguing as I settled down in this new situation. I had most of the same classmates yet new classmates as we all welcomed each other to a new year. This year I have had lots of fun with my teacher and more is waiting for us farther along. All my classmates will say the same thing. Bye!

Paint-balling

Have you ever been paint-balling? Well, this winter break I did it it was the most thrilling time of my life. Even though I had some injuries, I made it out alright. Where we played was across from my uncle's shop. There was a bushy forest at one end, a scarce forest with small trees on the other end, and a wide vulnerable plain full of horse poop, was dividing the two ends. First we played capture the flag with two construction helmets. I was in the bushy forest when I got Uncle Wes out. I tried to make a run for the flag but, I got hit by my cousin in-law, Shane. We did another round of capture the flag but I sat out so other people could play. The next round was full of excitement and fun. It was Nick, Wes, and Shane against everyone else. They were protecting a flag that I got when my dad held my back as I made a run for it. Paint-balling was the most thrilling Christmas present of my life. Maybe you should go, but remember to have lots of padding.

Holiday Memory

Article posted December 8, 2011 at 12:51 AM GMT0 • comment (1) • Reads 147

I would like to talk to you about a Christmas memory I had, well I'm not sure when I had it. On Christmas eve I couldn't sleep at all waiting for Santa to come. Eventually like every kid I fell asleep. In the morning my brothers woke me up and everybody else. They were all angry but we didn't notice because we were so anxious to open presents. I made a hat for my sister Rachel and she really liked it so I was content. All the gifts my family gave me I loved though I'm not sure what they all were because my memory is fuzzy. That night we had such a delicious dinner. We had turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, cookies, brownies and all sorts of stuff. I loved it all and all of my family was there. After dinner we went caroling all over the place. We were so tired when we got back we all went to bed and fell asleep. I love Christmas.

Do You Hate Your Parents?

Article posted November 18, 2011 at 03:49 AM GMT0 • comment • Reads 91

Today I was asked to write about a text to self from a book called Family Tree. I chose to right about a time where my parents did something that they thought was best but you think you could never forgive them. I chose to right about the time my parents got divorced when I was about 4. I thought I could never forgive them but I eventually did. It was really rough around then but I got through it. I'm glad I was little because it would have been harder to take it now. I thought I could never forgive them because I thought they were trying to split me and my family up and it was just a pain to switch between houses. Now it has become a routine and I don't actually hate them. I hope Tyler forgives her dad just like I forgave mine. I feel bad for tyler and not knowing about her family. Well, I got to go, Bye!

I'm Going Crazy!!!

Article posted October 26, 2011 at 12:19 AM GMT0 • comment • Reads 157

Out of the four that I chose, (obesity, mental illness, graffiti, and animal testing) I chose mental illness because I have to admit I can go pretty wacko sometimes but thats not all. I have seen many people in my time (10 years) that their lives have been affected by their mental problems. Back then they put people in crazy hospitals if they were going or are mental. I think it is very sad that this happens to them, so I want to learn how I can help them. I have to say my brothers might be mental because they bug me for entertainment. One time when I went to Idaho my cousins friend has a friend that is mentally disabled and can't really communicate with anybody. I felt really sorry for him. Well I hope nobody in my family goes mental and I'm glad it isn't in out gene pool. Well I got to go. Bye- Bye.

Keyboards

Article posted October 7, 2011 at 03:48 AM GMT0 • comment (3) • Reads 238

I personally think typing would be the best option than cursive or print because it is most efficient since it has spell check, grammar check, and auto correct followed by other neat additions. It is also nice because it can never get sloppy because it always looks the same and it looks clean. A downside is you can never have a computer with you at all times and its always annoying to transfer files to files. Also, there are too many little details you can't figure out until the next update comes. Writing with your hand, however, where you're the one who controls and makes the updates. But, another upside is you can write faster, be neater, be correct, and not get hand aches as much. Well this is my opinion about which one is better: print, cursive, or typing and typing is my pick.
