Japanese Reflection

Who said that suffering is not part of life??? He Japanese citizens were starting a normal, ordinary day. Suddenly the ground started shaking viciously from left to right and right to left. It was an earthquake!!!! People were running, praying, and screaming for help. The magnitude of the earthquake was 8.9 on the Rickter Scale. There were 30 aftershocks. At that point there was no land it was a TSUNAMI!!! 10m high! The tsunami was like a starving monster that had swallowed many lives. Over 10,000 people had been missing in just a few minutes. In addition to all of that there was a threat that the main nuclear plant was going to explode sending radiation across all of Japan and maybe other countries neighboring it.
Even though, I could empathize with the people and it was a heart breaking event. Many children and little babies had lost their parents or the opposite way. They were left alone, homeless, nowhere to go.
This is part of life. You may face many disasters like this. The earthquake in Japan was extremely destructive and it showed that when nature is angry it will cause something destructive. It was the most powerful earthquake that Japan has ever witnessed.

So Much Depends Upon
1) So much depends upon a tiny little seed that can bloom into the most gorgeous flower which can turn a gloomy field into a beauteous forest.
2) So much depends upon character education that can alter your life to help you become a better person and for you to succeed later on.
3) So much depends upon a million books that can change you tremendously from an ignorant to an educated and civilized person.
4) So much depends upon a grain of rice that can plant a smile on unprivileged people’s faces.

Summer In Cyprus

Guess what happened in the summer of 2007.
My dad told us in excitement, “We are going to Cyprus for the summer!” My two brothers and I jumped up and screamed because of what my dad had told us. We all packed our bags and five days later we traveled to Cyprus by plane. We sat business class for the trip and it was about a six hour flight. Then we went by a limousine to Larnaca the city for the first time in our lives.
When we arrived at the hotel we took the room keys and ran down the corridor to the room. My big brother and I did not care about unpacking, we just threw the bags and I said to my dad, “Dad we are going to check the place out. My dad replied, “Sure you can just be back in half an hour. So my brother and I ran out of the room shoving everyone who came in our way and we stared in amazement at the incredible beach. People were playing Volley-Ball and others were building sand castles. The first few days I made a friend but unfortunately I forgot his name. He was a very nice person and I even built sand castles with him.
The next day my dad took us paragliding and on a mushroom boat When you go the mushroom boat the steering wheel is a joystick and when you go paragliding we were like birds soaring so high up in the sky.
But unfortunately something terrible happened!...
I GOT SICK! I was in bed the whole day coughing sneezing with high fever. It was torture. I fell asleep with my word-search book next to me. A few minutes later I woke up and found myself in the hotel room with my dad beside me all the time. He said, “Sorry son we have to go.” I was so disappointed and angry. I packed my bag so we can leave to the airport. Two days later I waved good bye to my friend and we returned the hotel room keys. Luckily we traveled business class back with the entertainment machine.
That summer was the most exciting summer I ever had in my life apart from that silly annoying cold.

My name is Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi and I was born on October 2, 1869. My father was the prime minister of the prince’s court. My mother taught my brothers and I about our religion. Our religion is Jainism. I grew up and believed in karma.
I got married when I was thirteen years old and my wife was a very beautiful woman. I was very shy and I was even scared of the dark. I was a weak student and I barley graduated from college. I unfortunately had to leave my wife and go to London. When I returned home I found that my mother was dead.
One winter night in South Africa I was traveling by train on a business trip when a white passenger came up to me and told me to go to third class because of my race. When I refused a steward threw me off the train in the middle of nowhere.
After that I returned to India with my wife and four sons. The British government was very furious and they were killing many innocent people who were like me asking for independence from British rule. I lead a peaceful movement and after many years India finally won its independence during World War II
In 1944 my wife died and I was extremely sad. India was witnessing a lot of problems between the Hindus and Muslims which I detested. The evening of January 30, 1948 as I walked to the prayer many people awaiting me a Hindu man named Nathuram Godse fired a bullet in my chest. The last words that I said were, “RAMA, RAMA, RAMA,” meaning I forgive you, I love you and I bless you.

Slurp, Slurp, Slurp, people always licking me.
I hate it when people shake me around and burn me in hot food. Although I get cleaned once in a while it is TORTURE. And not only that, the worst part is when I get burnt. Every day all I get is complaints like:”Mom! What will I eat with?” I did not mention when those little children come along and start biting me. Sometimes when people drop me on the floor I get knocked out. But luckily at the end of every day at midnight I get to have a rest. I love it. I get to finally chat with all my relatives; it is the best time in the world. Most of the time, my friends get rusted and are thrown away. But then we get ready for the next day which will happen again, and again and again. When those people go on holidays we have the biggest party and we invite all of our friends. Then when our owners come back from their holiday they have new spoons that are much cleaner and look much more professional than us. I felt so disappointed and so upset when we heard about the new spoons and they were so mean that they started to taunt us. We went down into the garbage and the garbage truck took us all the way to the junk yard where we got burnt into millions of pieces. I started to think to myself, who are we? Do we deserve this?

Friendship

Friends
To me a friend should be honest, kind but not too kind; he should respect others and should definitely never ever use foul language because it is the thing that I detest the most. He should also not be rough while playing or shouldn’t harm anyone with his words.
Honest so other people will believe him and so he will be trustworthy. In my opinion so I can always believe him and I am always able to tell him special secrets. He should also not spread rumors that are not true.
Kind so other people will be kind to him. I hope he is not mean and selfish so maybe he and my other friends and I will be able to share some things with each other. Not only kind but should not use foul language.
Foul language may be able to harm someone or will actually insult his or her family. It may be able to reach a destination where some words may harm you a lot that you will never speak to him or her as well. It is also quite rude which brings us to respect.
Respect is very important in friendship it is what keeps friends together or does not separate them apart. You should always respect your friend or treat him the way your parents treat you. One day if you have any problems that you are facing your friend will always is there to support you help you or comfort you.
