What’s the opposite of going to school?

What’s the opposite of going to school?

Is it in the beach sun tanning and being cool?

Or maybe sky diving into a huge pool.

It could be travelling to the big apple.

Maybe in an activity that includes rappel.

Or watching John Cena in a grapple.

It could be playing MW3.

In the branches of a tree

Or maybe singing in glee.

What’s The Opposite of Having a Dad

What’s the opposite of having a dad?

Is it sobbing and always being sad?

Or is it missing a loved one to tell me

good from bad?

It might be never ever being glad.

I will always whimper and cry.

Not from just two pairs but 10 pairs of

Eyes.

But all I could do is try to enjoy life

If I can’t I will kill myself with a knife.

Red

Red is the color of blood

Red is the color of evil

Red is a tomato

Red is a sweet apple

Red is supposed to be a child enjoying life

Red is the color of madness

Red is the color of conflicts

Red is a rose

Red is the color of fire flames

Red is the color of warmth

Red the color of relaxing

Red is the color of love

Green

Green is the color of grass

Green is the sour taste of granny smith apples

Green is the perfect scene of Mother Nature

Green is the yucky taste of peas

Green is the color of being rich

Green is the color of leaves

Green is the color of spring

Green is an amazing view

Green is the soccer field

Red

Red is the color of war.

And a lion’s roar.

Red is the color of anger

Red is the color of strawberries.

Red is one of the rainbows layers.

Red is the color of roses.

Red is the color of my cousin’s hair.

Red is the color of the horizon.

Red is the color of blood.

Red is the color of Daniel’s face when he gets mad

Black

Black is the color of nightmares and disgrace.

Plastic bags swimming in our space.

My shadow following me.

Black is the color of death and a road track.

Black is the past and present for an Afghani kid.

Black is the color of people screaming.

Black is the color of horror.

Black is the color of Pepsi.

Black is the color of a blackberry.

Winning the Cup

What’s the opposite of winning the cup?

Is it not getting your hopes all up?

Crying and sobbing at your pillow all night.

Or going outside and flying your kite.

Is it running away from your grandma’s site?

Or fighting with my brother all night

Or is staring at the moonlight.

Or having a big zit on the right.

What’s the opposite of lying on the couch?

Running around and trying to catch your mouse.

Or is it standing up straight and trying not to slouch.

Maybe it’s your brother hitting you and you saying ouch.

Or jumping as high as Peter Crouch.

Or falling on thorns and yelling ouch.

Is it not lying on the couch.

Or is it waking up early and being a grouch.

Red

Red is a bullet going straight through your heart

And the fire waiting at your doorstep.

Red is the traffic STOP sign

And a strawberry with coated sugar melting in your mouth.

Red are the devils waiting at the entrance of hell

And innocent blood being spilt on the marble shined floor

Red is a stake through the heart

And the conflicts at your economy’s life

Red is the prickly roses on your hand

And the nosebleed we all once felt.

Storm

What’s the opposite of running through a storm?

Is it being safe inside your dorm?

Maybe it’s swimming in the neighbor’s pool

Or is it drowning in a puddle of drool

Could it be sleeping through history class?

Or is it filling your car with gas.

 Maybe sliding on a sled.

or even flying overhead.

Goal

What’s the opposite of scoring a goal?

Is it not even hitting the ball

Could it be missing recess

Or feeding my hamster, Bess

Could it be being at home sick

Or not even knowing how to kick

Maybe it’s playing as the goalie

Or riding on a little white pony.

White

White is the color of purity

White is making snow angels

White is vanilla ice cream scorching my throat

White is milk and cookies left out for Santa

White is the color of angels in heaven

White sounds like a choo-choo train

White is the color of innocence

White is paper that just came out of the printer

White is the smell of salty popcorn

White is whipped cream.

Black

Black represents Oreos

Black represents nighttime

Black tastes like licorice

Black smells like smoke

Black is an ominous black cat

Black sounds like annoying crows

Black is the color of funerals

Black is driving through a tunnel

Black brings memories of graveyards

Black is the color of an empty screen.

HELL

What’s the opposite of being in hell?

Is it having fun and being well

Or swaying on the slopes

or having many hopes

Or watching a movie with friends

Or playing a game that never ends

Or maybe not going to school for a day

Or going home and praying all day.

WARS

What’s the opposite of wars?

Is it enjoying a ride in your car

Going shopping happily

Walking outside bravely

Maybe chillaxing all day

Or enjoying our time saying yay.

Color poems

White

White is the color of onions.

White is the color of a dream.

White is the color of fresh snow.

White is the color of ice cubes.

White is the color of a crayon,

And the colors of flowers,

And the color of paint

White the color of the white house.

White is the color of a blank paper.

Green

Green is the color of paint.

Green is the color of frogs,

And the color of a shirts.

Green is the color of nature,

And the color of cars.

Green is the color of slime,

And the color of grass.

Green is the color of swamps,

And the color of paper.

Green is the color of dolls.

Blue

Blue is… the color of sadness.

Blue is… a song of sorrow.

Blue is… The sky is the limit.

Blue is… a summer time favorite.

Blue is… a hope of cleanliness.

Blue is… a marker of a child.

Blue is… a tasty jelly bean.

Blue is… a bruise.

Blue is… a Barca soccer ball.

Blue is… the disgusting aroma of blue cheese.

The Opposite of School

What is the opposite of going to school?

Is it sitting at home, being a fool?

Or going to your friend’s house?

Instead of chillin with your pet mouse.

Maybe going to the beach?

And not studying the anatomy of a leech.

I’ll consider travelling in May.

Saying, “No math today.”

The Opposite of Being an Adult

What is the opposite of being an adult?

Is it being a child, playing on your catapult?

Or playing a game called Assassinate.

Maybe pretending you’re British, saying help mate.

Waiting till you’re old enough to use shaving foam.

Being impatient and not using a comb.

Playing with all your toys.

Just being yourself, making too much noise.

Green

Green is… go green

Green is… a pea.

Green is… the taste of yucky asparagus.

Green is… Mother Nature and beyond.

Green is… the Falling Gardens.

Green is… green tea.

Green is… tasty broccoli.

Green is… the 5C sofa.

Green is… the color of Africa on a map.

Green is… a dirty puddle of water.

Kind

What’s the opposite of being kind?

Ruining someone else’s mind.

Or waking someone from their nap

Not flushing the toilet and leaving the crap.

Maybe kidnapping an innocent child

Being absolutely everything but mild.

Crashing a wedding, ruining the cake

Thinking of all the trouble you can make.

Rich

What’s the opposite of being rich?

Dressing in rags, just like a witch.

Or being so desperate you’ll eat a kid

Maybe being a slave doing your bid.

Or not being able to afford a mouse

Or bursting in, stealing your house.

Maybe being a servant polite as can be

Or tricking the owner, spiking her tea.

Color Poems

Red

Red is the color of your heart pumping fast.

Red is the danger that lurks on the streets.

Red is the color of the spiciest foods.

Red is the tulips on a green meadow.

Red is the fresh drop of blood on the floor.

It exhilarates the anger in you.

Red is the fire burning in the very depths of hell.

Red is the searing pain through your body.

It is the color that makes us fight on.

It is the sleek velvety feel of roses.

And it is the sound of killing and horror.

Black is the licorice in your mouth

Or the black that comes out of my dad’s cigarettes.

Opposite Poems

Being Sad

What’s the opposite of being sad?

Is it being happy, or maybe glad?

How ‘bout playing with toys that you had got,

While playing in your car in a parking lot?

Maybe hugging your parents and showing your love,

Or playing nicely with your pet dove?

Is it swimming and diving into a pool,

And shouting, screaming and feeling cool.

Space

What’s the opposite of being up in space?

Is it having your feet ground firmly in a place?

Or being on a boat going out to sea,

Or rafting waters and yelling WEEEE!

Maybe sitting in a car and getting gas,

And waiting for the trip to be over at last.

But me, I’d rather run a 10-mile race,

And never, EVER go up into space.

Color Poems

Red

Red is the color of fury and frustration.

It looks like bloodshed and war,

But it’s also the color of poppies in a field.

Red can be the color of fire and warmth,

And sounds like merry laughter.

It smells like fire cooking in a cookout.

Sometimes, it looks like fresh paint on a wall,

And like a ladybug on a leaf.

Red is the color of bloodshot eyes

Of someone who has cried too much.

Finally, it’s the color of a Stop sign.

Black

Black is the color of tarmac on a road.

It is the color of people, who have been discriminated against

and it’s the color of a tuxedo suit.

Black is the color nutritious soil.

It’s also the color of a grim future.

Black is the color of bullets

And of death and destruction

It’s the color of smoky plumes

and of some peoples hair.

Black smells like a black permanent marker.
