What I have learned
Three things I have learned about my poet, Nikki Giovanni, are that she is a lung cancer survivor, she gave birth to her son in 1969, and today she is a University Distinguished Professor at Virginia Tech University in Blacksburg, Virginia. Two things I have learned about technology are how to create a photostory (even though we did one in Miss Harris' class, I was still not so sure how to do it), and how to create a wiki page (edit, comment, upload files, etc.). One thing I learned about communication is that you have to type things carefully because even when you mispell something or word something weirdly, it might have a whole new meaning and the person who reads it might interpret it the wrong way.
