Our class was fortunate enough to have attended a concert at the Tilles Center for Performing Arts. We were treated to the Long Island Philharmonic and their wonderful music. It was so exciting to be in such a great big place with an incredible orchestra playing. What did you think of them? What was your favorite part? What other types of music do you think our class would enjoy watching or visiting on a field trip? Where could we go? Why did you choose that? Support your choice with reasons why you would recommend it.

On Tuesday we went to the Long Island Orcharstra at the tilles center! It was so much fun! My favorite part was the ending because it was very wild, everyone was clapping to the beat and the lights were changing in the backround. I think our class could listen to another orchastra with more pop since at the tiles center everyone liked the last song which was kind of like pop. I think we should visit a college because then we have an experience on what the players learn at college. I would want to go again=http://!!!!:p

I think the music okay. my avorite part was when the peolple played that flute. I think our class will enjoy pop music on a field trip. I think we should go to a band concert. I chose that because we usaully dont go to see bands and concerts often.

I think they're fantastic performence was great, but I fell asleep.
My favorite part wwas when I got to see my old friend John who's now in Denton.
I think the class will enjoy pop music.
I chose it because that's what most of the good songs are.

I think the Long Island Philharmonic orchestra's music sounded wonderful. My favorite part was when the girl played the solo with her flute. I am not sure what other kind of music my class will enjoy but,I think we will enjoy a different kind of music.

They were amazing! My favorite part was when the violins sounded like dragon flies. I think our class would enjoy pop music. We could go see the Black Eyed Peas! Yeah! That sounds cool.

I thought that the Philharmonic was great! Their music was played well, so I like every part of it. But I think my two favorites were the end part when all the lights came on and flashed everywhere like disco lights. My second one is when we all sang "Happy Birthday" to Nicole. I think that the class will enjoy more disco music. We could go to a special place where they do the same thing as the Philharmonic but it's more disco-y.

I think the philharmonic was awesome.My favorite part was the ending part it was so good.I think the class could listen to rock music the next musical field trip.It would be at the Nassau Colisium.Why,because it's big.

The whole thing was awesome! I really liked the end. Sadly one of the buses broke down so a lot of the good parts weren't there but it was still good I just want to see it again.

has everything in it but it is all different. We should go somewhere near the Philharmonic that is the
same but diffrernet because the other one could be a musem and we could try the intsments but the ones that we touch not blowing.

My favorite part of the concert this week was when at the end when they flashed the lights around and they put Jazz music on.
I think we would enjoy more Beethoven.

I thought that it was pretty fun. It was also very interesting to watch them because you could learn from them. My favorite part was when they put on the different colored lights and played the nice music. I think the class would enjoy pop music. I chose that because many people do. Also, it's fun to listen to in my opinion.

I thought the perfomance was amazing. My favorite part is when the instruments sounded like bees. Ilike the class to listen to pop music. I chose this because pop music is awesome and fun to hear.

I thought the Philharmonic was pretty god but not all the musicians were there so I couldn't listen to the whole performance. My favorite part was the end when the made this kind of disco song with all the light flashing back and forth! I think my class would like seeing pop music. I chose that because I think whenever Mr. D puts the music on for morning work everyone looks like they like it because it is most likely pop music!!!!

I think that the Philharmonic music players were very talented. One of the songs were from a movie Mrs. Warner (our music teacher) showed us. My favorite part was when they played the funky music and the lights were showing in different colors. I think that the class also enjoyed the funky music. We should also take a field trip to the Clark Botanic Gardens. I choose this place because it plays terrific music just like the Philharmonic music players in the Tilles center

I loved the concert we went to and my favorite part was the end with the disco lights and the funky music. I think our class would also like hearing hip hop because it seems that's the music that kids our age like hearing now days.

the tillies concert was borring but in the end it was awsome because of its lights and color so it was my favorite but the bug one wa kind of disterbing but it was cool.

I think the orchestra was amazing!!! My favorite part was The Jazz song. The notes sounded nice.If I we want to go to a field trip, I think our class will like pop music. I think we should see the Black Eye peas. They are great !!! They have a good rythem too. All of my friends will love it !!!

I am in 4'th grade. I have a twin. I love to draw, paint, and sketch. I want to be an artist when I grow up. I love to sing and dance and act. I also love to dig, go on roller coasters, and climb trees. I like to dive off the diving board but sometimes I get water in my nose. My favorite color is light blue but it changes a lot. I love science and chicken parmigiana!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My mom makes the best chocolate chip cookies! My dad is a great tennis player and a good swimmer.
