We Are Off and Running in Fourth Grade! (10/21/10)

Greetings and salutations to our new fourth grade class of 1011. Welcome to our class blog. What is a blog? A blog is short for "web" and "log". It is our place on the Internet where we can communicate with others and express ourselves safely and have some fun too!
This week, we customized our blog pages and added avatars that are our digital selves. We really did a GREAT job with them!
Here are the questions I want you to think about for this first blog:
1) What do you think will be your biggest challenge this year in fourth grade?
2) If you could anything you want in fourth grade using technology, what would you want to do?
Make sure that you double check your blog for proper capitalization, grammar, punctuation and spelling!

A challenge for me this year will be doing algebra with a lot of numbers. Also trying to laugh at Ms.Thomas' jokes. If I got to do anything with technology it would be making my own website with awesome effects, and making music vides with amazing backrounds.

I think my biggest challenge in fourth grade playing a new sport or games at the gym or in the classroom and aslo my biggest challenge is to type all of the friends in Searingtown school

If we do a music video. I think we should use hip hop music, because it has a fun beat like the black eyed peas "I gotta feeling" or
Ushers "oh my god"
I think we should make the video on geography and use the black eyed peas song because its fun

I think the biggest challenge this year in fourth grade will be reading and writing long respones.
If I could do anything I want in fourth grade using technology, I would want to make a website.

I think we should put on one of the music pieces that you play in the morning. That's what I think. I like those kind of music. I think we should use the song California Gurls. I think we should use that song for Crayfish. Since I love Crayfish!

One of the biggest challenges in the fourth grade I think will be taking the state test.I remember last year that it took awhile to end.And I heard in the fourth grade it's longer because you have to take a science test.I wonder when this years will end.
If I could do anything in the fourth grade I would research EVERYTHING we study.It would be nice learning more.And I really love doing reasearch.I happen to think it is really fun.

My biggest challenge in 4th grade is to learn more harder math and learn how to do it. If I could do anything in technology I would want to find out inforation about lighting and inforation about blog making.

My biggest challenge in fourth grade is going to be working with the crayfish. This is because I think it would be hard picking up the crayfish and putting them down. I also want to get better at much harder math.

Fourth grade is so cool,great, and especially funny. The reason I used the word funny is because my two teachers make me laugh every five seconds and after that I can't stop laughing.

 I think my biggest challnge in fourth grade will be spelling and tests. I would build a crayfish habitat. I would like to make my own blog and my own website by myself.

This year's biggest challenge so far is doing subtraction with regrouping. I like math, and I hope I get better with subtracting with regrouping.
In first grade, I used to be shy and didn't think I would make any friends, but I now have good friends in fourth grade. I'm a good friend, and I can help others make friends if this is thier challenge.

I think the biggest challenge for me is to say bye to my teachers and friends.If I could do anything in technology, I would build a robot that would do my homework and do my nails. That would be perfect! By the way, Mr.Dugger and Ms.Thomas are so funny!:]

My biggest challenge this year in fourth grade is to enhance my writings skills which will help me to publish a fiction story book.I want to research about cancer to help cure the patients.

I think my biggest challenge this year will be working with computers and raising crayfish. If I could do anything using technology I would learn to draw pictures and add them to my blog, make music videos, and create my own TV show. :)

1. The biggest challenge for me in fourth grade will be to clean the crayfishes' tank and touch them without getting hurt.
2. I would love to make another Wildself Avatar. It was so much fun to create the first one. I want to make it look like me.

I am in 4'th grade. I have a twin. I love to draw, paint, and sketch. I want to be an artist when I grow up. I love to sing and dance and act. I also love to dig, go on roller coasters, and climb trees. I like to dive off the diving board but sometimes I get water in my nose. My favorite color is light blue but it changes a lot. I love science and chicken parmigiana!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My mom makes the best chocolate chip cookies! My dad is a great tennis player and a good swimmer.
