Title: Take My Word For It (10/25/10)
Description: We have had a great start to the school year, and we have been exploring a lot of new vocabulary. Think about how the first month of school has been for you:

1) If you had to choose ONE word to describe fourth grade so far this year, what word would you choose?
2) Why did you choose this word? Use details to support your choice.

Make sure that you double check your blog for proper capitalization, grammar, punctuation and spelling!

***Remember that a blog is NOT a journal. What you write can and will be viewed by other people, so DO NOT put any sensitive or personal information!***

Carly -- My Year so Far

If I had to choose one describing word for my 4th grade year so far it would be extraordinary.I chose this word because Mr. Dugger & Ms.Thomas made me laugh so much. I don't think that there has ever been a lesson without a joke having to be said. Also we played many fun things like kickball, 2 fun math games, and went outside. I'm very luck to have Mr.D, Ms.Thomas and Mrs. Nassipour

I chose the word exciting to describe the fourth grade so far because Mrs. Thomas and Mr.Dugger make learning new things fun and exciting for example when we learned about crayfish. It was fun to watch the crayfish try to escape from his tank.

So far, this school year has been going great. I really like my teachers this year. They are so funny and really nice.
But it is not just what amazing teachers I have, it is the subjects we have been learning.Like in math we are doing subtraction and addition. Before that we were doing place value and before that it was graphs.
As a class we have read 'Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing'.From visualizing to predicting it was an amazing book.
Social studies has really been a blast.Who knew that there were so many things you needed to know just to read a map?
And science,Oh I have loved science. It is AMAZING!
In science we have done the scientific method, learned about the earth's resources and now we are doing crayfish.
In language arts it has been from subjects & predicates,to nouns and pronouns.
I think I have gotten everything down. You can clearly see how much fun I'm having.

PEACE!!!
