Spring Break! Whatcha do? (04/27/11)

We have just returned from Spring Break! What a great time it was! Now we are back and ready to continue learning! I was able to read over 100 pages from Roald Dahl’s book “Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator”. I also went to the Nassau County Museum of Art in Roslyn with my family. We saw some great art, and we created crafts for Earth Day. Finally, we went to see the movie “Rio” in 3-D. It was awesome! My favorite character was Luis the dog. I thought that the saliva that hung off his lips was gross, but silly. What did you do on your Spring Break? Be specific, but don’t give out personal information. What was your favorite thing that you did all week?

Over the Spring Break I painted Easter eggs with Courtney! First we went to a pizza place! Then we came back to my house.We painted a lot of Easter eggs! I had a lot of fun! We painted Easter eggs! I had a great day!

On my spring break we went out to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner a few times. I also went to Searingtown school so I can play basketball. I also went to church to celebrate Easter.
My favorite thing that I did this week was going to Astoria with my grandpa and my mom.

I hung out with 8th graders most of the time. I went to the Knick game in the play offs, but they lost. I also went to watch "Rio," my favorite charater was Blu, because he didn't know how to fly when he was an adult bird. He learned how to fly at the right time. My favorite thing over the vacation was going to the Knick's game, and we got free t-shirts.

I went to South Street Seaport. I saw many boats. One looked like a pirate boat with the the big deck and sails. I also watched a lot of T.V and played at home. On Easter Day, my mom set up an Easter hunt for my brother Dillon and I. It was great. I got a new blue umbrella and popcorn. My favorite thing that I did all week was when I played my DSI. I beat four levels. It was awesome! If I could have done anything I thought of, I would have went on a bike trail with my dad. My spring vacation rocked!

I didn't do much on spring break. On Friday I went to see a movie with my friend. We saw Diary of A Wimpy Kid Rodrick Rules. That is my favorite thing, since I didn't do much anyway. If I could have done anything, then I would've went somewhere, like Hawaii. That sounds more fun than a movie! I chose Hawaii because it's fun there and since I've been there before, I would like to go again.

My favorite part of Spring Break is Woodloch in the poconos,Pennsylvainia.My favorite activites are go carts, bumper cars, bumper boats, batting cages, mini golf, and swimming.It was so awesome. I chose this because it was my favorite part of Spring Break.

Well if you are wondering what that means, it means I went to Washington D.C.. My favorite part was when I went to the Lincoln Memorial and no I didn't sit on his lap. I liked it the most because it had the most detail out of all the others.

 I stayed home over the weekend and also went to my cousins house we played and talked and had a great birthday. My favorite part is when me, my cousin, brothers,and sisiters played a Basketball game all together. I would want to go swimming with dolphins. I choosed this because it always had been my dream also today ,too.

On my spring break, I went to Mexico. My favorite thing there was snorkling. I snorkled in a cenote that was really deep. I think it was about 180 meters deep. There was fish and it leaded to the ocean. It was my favorite thing because I got to see a variety of fish and the plants that live in the cenote. If I could hae done anyhing I though of, I would've went scubadiving in Bonaire. I would've picked that because I want to be deep in the water and for a long period of time, instead of being on top of the water.

Over the spring break, I visited stupendous island of Jamaica. Can you imagine the fun riding on a horse in crystal clear blue ocean? It was an amazing experience. Walking over the rushing waters and slippery limestones of Dunn's River Falls was exhilarating. Just like a monkey swinging from one tree to another, we relished ziplining over the canopy of lush green rainforest. I would love to go back to Jamaica whenever the opportunity will arise.

 During spring break I went to Florida. I stayed in Boca Raton. Did you know that Boca Raton means Mouth of the Rat?!?! First I went to the beach. It was soooo fun in the waves=http://=http://=http://!!!! The sun was soooo hot!!! I went so deep in the ocean with my uncle Jesse. My dad taught me how to swim under a wave! First (TIME ORDER WORD!), I waited for a big wave. Then, I closed my eyes and started swimming very quickly! When I opened my eyes the wave was gone! The beach was DEFINITELY MY FAVORITE THING!

My spring break was really great!!!! I got to see the movie Rio as well as Mr. Dugger! I thought Luis' saliva was gross and silly too. I went to the City to see the twin towers I stayed home on some days . I also went to the park with my whole family and went bike riding with my family. My favorite thing was going bike riding with my whole family because it was a great exersise and I had a lot of fun doing it. If I could do anything on this vacation it would have been going to California! That's what I did over the vacation!!!!

I actually didn’t go anywhere for vacation. I was only at home. I watched 2 movies called Tangled and the movie How to Train a Dragon. I also had tons of parties with lots of friends. I had an Indian dance to do with my friends so I did that. After that, we all had pizza together. We did that dance practice at almost all the friends’ houses. That means a lot of pizza! I also had some classes to go to. I also studied for my N.Y state test. I don’t celebrate Easter so I was at home the rest of the time also read a book called “A Wrinkle in Time”. My favorite thing I did was studying and doing all the parties. I can’t think of anything that I would have chosen because everything was perfect for me.

Wow Spring break was AWSEOME I did a bunch of thing, I watched the movie RIO and my favorite charecter was Jewle, I thought she was nice when she needed to be and fuirous when she needed to be.I also had a two day sleepover with my friend but my younger brother kept bothering us, next my mom and dad got me a new bike it's lavender, I also had my dads friend over for passover it was really fun finally I played outside for a long time with my neighbors.
My favorite thing during Spring break was watching the movie RIO and having my friend sleepover for two days.
If I could've done anything over Spring break it would be going to Califonia Hollywood.<=)

During the spring break I stayed home and went to my best freinds house exept this Tuesday i went to spa castle and last Tuesday I went to the mall and last Friday I stayed home and watched tv. my favorite part was going to my best freinds house and going to the mall but after the mall I wwent to New York City and they are my favorite times becuase they were fun.

 This spring break,I spent time with both of my grandmas. They called me to help them out repeatedly.Then, my friend came over and we had a good time together. After that ,I had a rehearsal for an up coming event . Finally, I went to a resturant with my friend's mom.
