Happy New Year to our class and families! Many people make “resolutions” for the New Year to identify ways that they can improve something about themselves over the coming year. I want you to think about your “Searingtown Resolution.”
What way or ways would you like to improve as a fourth grade student this year? This can be academic (like study habits) or social (what kind of person that you are). How will you go about achieving this? Do you think that you can do it? How will you check to see if you have?

My New Year's Resolution is to take my time on homework and have neater hand writing. I will know that I did this by my teacher or a classmate gives me a complement. I think I can do this because it isn't the hardest resolution. For example my last year's resolution was to exercise more and to become stronger so every morning and would.

My new year’s resolution is to improve in
social studies. I am going to achieved this by listing to the teachers and spend more time in the library. I think I can do it if I try or study hard enough so I can have a good grade.
I’m going to ask my parents to quiz me about social studies at the end of the year.

My new year's resolution is to talk to other people in my class other than my friends Eli and Rushi. I want to be more friendly to my other classmates and to be more open to them. I have to be more social.

2 ways I could improve this new year as a student is to raise my hand more and answer more challenges if I can. The ways I can achieve this is by studying more and paying more attention in group discussions. I definitely think I can do it

My New Year Resolution is to learn more harder multiplication. I really like multiplication. I will try to do more multiplication during the days. Harder kind. Like 4 by 4. I can do it by keep on studying my facts more even if I know them really well.I that's what I really want to do this year!

My Searintown resolution is that I want to laugh at Ms.Thomas' jokes more. Also, I would like to get better at science,social studies, and health. I will improve by studying more. I think I will probably improve by the end of the year. I will check if I did by looking at all the test grades.

I would like to improve as a 4th grader by getting better grades and working on my math. To be better at math I can study more and pay more attention in class. I think that I can do this! To check I will ask the people around me and ask if I have improved. As a person I would like to be nicer to my family.

I would like to approve on being nicer to me younger sister. I will achieve this by when my sister is annoying me I won't get mad at her. I think I can do this. I will check myself by making sure i don't hurt my sister or annoy her. That's my New Years resolution!

I would want to get all the fours in my report card. I also want to do good on my tests. I want to do good on my tests.But my real goal is to be a doctor. For this, I have to work harder, do not much silly mistakes and study more often. People think I need high I.Q but I think I need to work hard in order to reach my goal.

My new Year resolution is to get better test scores. For example, I want to find the math facts by following directions. Instead of half pooints I want to get full point. I also do not want to lose my writing index cards. I want to be a good listener. I do not want to miss any more homeworks either. I have good teachers and parents who teach me a lot. I want to learn more from them.
