A stranger walks into Jafrican, and we have no choice but to let him enter.
I would first ask for his name and other details about him, such as where he lives… etc. then we would act nice after we know details about him, because he wouldn’t be a stranger. After, I would show him around jafrican, and he may possibly stay so, I would rent him a bed.
The next morning, we would feed him breakfast and give him water so he can fit his needs. He should probably thank us. Finally, we would give him a pack including; a full water bottle, a couple of mangos, and a towel, so he could make his way back to where he lives, covering all his needs.
This is how we Jafricanians do it…

Why do certain places have foods they are famous for?
Certain places have certain foods they are famous for because of their natural resources and climate (weather) such as Atlanta. Atlanta grows mangos because they have the climate that is just right for them to grow healthy. Japan makes sushi because it is an island surrounded by fish which is clean and very tasty to make sushi, as to South Africa, they are located in a certain spot, that is a great spot, to grow vegetables and to find lagoons (a certain kind of bird), but sometimes they use very cheap fish. In Spain, they eat tapas (again) because they are located in a certain place which grows the ingredients to make tapas. These are a couple of examples of Why do certain places have foods they are famous for.

The heavenly potato and the beef angel
I could feel the steam arise from the meat and potato that I was about to devour. The taste of certain juices and numerous spices curled around my tongue. Then the potato’s taste arrived. The taste of salt and seasoning oil had arisen from the inside of the slice. I had another bite. This time, both tastes crashed together making the taste of paradise. It was the most delicious moment.

I choose a picture of a giraffe because it is an animal from Africa, and I thought that Africa is a good place to learn culture.

History of Big Events
It is very important that students attend the carnivals and events at ACS, to show appreciation to their school and celebrate what ACS has accomplished. I have interviewed Dr. Damon and Mr. Chapman about history of big events.
During 2003-2011, the biggest events were the prep rally and the carnival. They were the biggest events because they had a lot of space and lots of people attending. To prepare the carnivals, ACS would rent, buy, or ask parents to donate equipment. Student council would help organize events. Usually, ACS would have small events away from school such as plays and concerts. To set up an event (within the school) it would take 1,500 people, because people in ACS would contact other people to bring certain equipment. The money added up to enter a big event would be $3,000 because loads of people would attend, and the price is at least 10-15 L.L. In 2010, 2 events were postponed: Field Day (because of rain) and the carnival (because of political problems). The biggest number of people who would attend to the events was 1,800. The most popular event was the carnival because it was organized to have fun. The events had big difference back then from now because back then there were not many events and now there are carnivals and more trips students organized.
School events are really important because they show what the school has accomplished, and they help the school be a better place to be!

It was finally the day the hour, the minute, the second, the millisecond that we stepped into the bus. It felt like our souls were being lit by fire. The scent of happiness wafted into my nose. I could feel the velvet of the seat touch me with all its softness. The bus began to move. The sound of people talking about the big trip ahead of us floated into my ears. An hour later, the bus pulled over. I stepped out and smelled the fresh scent of wind enter my nose. The journey ahead of us was not to think of, we should enjoy it as it comes….

5d’s camping trip in Dare El Qamar review:
Our camping trip was very fun and interesting, that I enjoyed it very much!!! The best part of it was sleeping in the tent, because nobody slept!!!! We all stayed awake and visited each other, but when the "teachers" came to check on us, everybody ran into their tent, zipped it up, and pretended that they were asleep, so when the "teacher" arrived it was as quiet as possible! The thing that I hated the most was the 5 mile hike, which I thought we were going to die on!! Nobody had water (including me!), and we were all tired, but what I hated the most about the 5 mile hike was the thorns scratching your legs!!! The food was great, like a royal restaurant! Putting up the tent was very fun. We had a bonfire, but it was too hot to eat marshmallows, but we listened to a great story and enjoyed the way the fire got lit by itself!! This was a great camping trip, and I’m looking forward to another one!!!

Grade 4 is learning about countries. My country is Yemen. I want to tell you some really interesting facts about Yemen.
- Yemen’s natural resource is fishing.
- They have very least of money which affects the land.
- The jobs that Yemen can offer to the people are agriculture, domesticating animals, working in oil fields, fishing, mining, and forestry.
- There are a lot of dust storms.
- Yemen’s population was estimated at 22.2 million in a year.
