Grade 4 is studying Middle Eastern countries. I will be studying Lebanon in depth. Here are five things I have already learned:
- Lebanon has distinct geographical areas (mountains, valley, coastal plain).
- Lebanon is on the far eastern edge of the Mediterranean Sea.

- Lebanon’s climate is one that is called a Mediterranean climate. This is where winters are cold and rainy, and the summers are hot and humid.
- Lebanon is famous for its cedar trees, but due to many years of forest depletion, they have become rare.
- The Beqaa valley is the major agricultural area in the country.
I am curious to learn about how the rivers in Lebanon help the water supply of Lebanon.
