They describe countries and people and clothes and food we don’t know about. I also like folktales because there is always an adventure. The story that builds the most tension for me was the tale of Aladdin when they described the genie pop out of the lantern. The courage of the main character is always my favorite theme because it teaches you to be brave. All folktales have lessons and happen in different countries, there is always a fight between good and evil. There is always a target to achieve and they are never real. there are mostly religious things, and the tension is always high. Article posted January 8, 2012 at 07:21 PM GMT+2 • comment • Reads 590

The sound of waves rushing down the shore made me feel in heaven. Then I turned left to see the fish in the water outside the window, which then reminded me of the fish we ordered to eat! Soon I saw the waiter holding a plate of fish. Fish was everywhere (again). So I picked one, then two, then three!   I ate them all except one. So I ate it. I then everything was blurry, I couldn’t breathe. I was choking on a bone. Dads said DON’T panic!!! Then I panicked!!! Then dad gave me bread and I fainted. Soon I woke up feeling a lot better. Dad saved me and the bread made the bone fall. Article posted January 5, 2012 at 10:10 AM GMT+2 • comment (2) • Reads 436

One day, the log decided it was a good day for him to do some pranks on the poor people. Soon, he spotted a poor, old, stranger. So, the log went closer so he could give him a wedge. The poor stranger was odd looking and had a brown robe, and a brown scarf covering his face. Do you know about the hidden treasure inside the cupboard? The stranger asked. Do I! Where did you find it? Said the log. In the cave to the left, but don’t go there the treasure will curse you! He said wisely. So, the log went to the cave on the left forgetting about the curse. Soon, the log opened the treasure box and got cursed. The curse made him thinner and tighter by the second. Two years later, he became sick and weak from the curse. Then, he was no longer a log, but a stick. Article posted November 21, 2011 at 01:49 PM GMT+2 • comment (1) • Reads 759
