Octopus

Me, John the Octopus and My Amazing Adventure

Yesterday was a day I will never forget . A human came near me in a black suit, shining a torch in all directions, illuminating the sandy and rocky ground. Bubbles rose to the surface from his silver mechanic thing. He wasn’t really much to look at, neither were his companions holding large boxes and pointing them at me, but it was not an opportunity I was going to miss. I wrapped my eight, long tentacles around him, and looked at him with my oversized eyes under my large, droopy eyelids. I felt his single, steady heartbeat against the three hearts of my own. He pushed away from me, and I watched with eager eyes. I must have freaked him out, so I released him easily. I spread my tentacles wide, and then pushed them all together. I rose nearer to the surface, and my big, round head cast a shadow in the ocean from the bright blue sky.

Speaking Up

Article posted February 26, 2013 at 12:21 PM GMT+2 • comment • Reads 101

                                                              Speaking Up

If I was in any position that I needed to speak out, I am definitely somebody with a strong personality and I would definitely be somebody who would make a stand for what is right. At things that are really wrong, I feel anger flow through me that makes me want to punch the culprit in the face. Later, I would even face guns to show people how I feel. You may think I would back out at a situation like this, because there are many people that cower at the face of death. But still, if there is something that makes me really angry, eventually, there will be no stopping me. And no, I’m not a superhero!

I would continue to speak out against the weapons of the Taliban continuously, for every child deserves the right to go to school and have a good education. There is no difference between two genders of children’s rights, and it cannot be taken away by anyone. The Taliban have no right to steal and replace a child’s fate, future, destiny, or whatever you want to call it. I am positive that I would fight, but this bravery can easily be drained in real situation. On second thoughts, it is risky to stand up against the Taliban’s torcher methods. Malala is very brave, but if I could do it with backup I would stand up against evil. Again, no, I’m not a superhero!!!

So, Malala is a hero, but even I would surely gather a team of rebels to fight for my own and others’ rights. It is good not to be scared by sheer force and you could tell people how you feel, so eventually, you could find a way to fight back. My first thoughts on matters like this are violent ways like rioting or large military strike forces, but maybe that is not always the right way. But to do anything, you must speak up. Let the world know.e!

I chose this shape because it represents thought which is basically what the brain is mostly known for. The lightning bolt is a sign of thinking hard and using effort.
