I see my stepmoms delicious homemade food on the big table. It smells nothing like what I imagined, and my favorite was the salad. It was delicious. I sit in the kitchen with my friend and her cousins. I was not comfortable in the chair that I was sitting in, so I started talking to my friend and I had forgotten about the chair and I became comfortable. The adults in the house were talking and laughing and I couldn’t hear my friend. I felt crowded in the crowed and I felt warm at the same time when I was getting my plate from my stepmom. When everyone was seated my friends and I went out and then came back in with our plates full. When we had all finished, we all went down to the balcony to see the New Year’s count down and we all said “5 4 3 2 1 0.” We all saw the fireworks out the window. And we all had a great New Year.
