I Made a Mistake
Marc
I went to Shake Shack to eat a burger,
I made a mistake… and I got murdered.
I went my house to see my ma,
I made a mistake… and landed with my pa.
I went to the beach to swim and play,
I made a mistake… my car went mayday!
I went to the museum to see the bones,
I made a mistake… and made some clones!
I went to the zoo with my friend Brian,
I made a mistake… he got eaten by a lion.
I went to the ocean to see the view,
I made a mistake… and stepped on goo.
I went to New York by a plane,
I made a mistake… and brought a chain.
I went to my house to play on my I pad
I made a mistake… and made Siri mad.
I went to the dentist to check my teeth,
I made a mistake… and became a chief.
I went to the Whitehouse to see Obama,
I made a mistake… and watched Futurama.

Curving a Soccer Ball
Marc
Phweeeee! It’s a free-kick! A chance to score! OH! OH! The 4th person of the wall is blocking your path to score! The easiest way to score is to curve the ball. I’m going to show you how.
In order to have enough power to score, you have to take some steps back from the ball. If you are close to the goal, take three steps back to not get the ball over the crossbar. If you are slightly far from the goal take four steps back from the ball. If you are far from the goal, take five steps back in order to get to the ball at least to the goal.
You took your steps back right? But there is another way to miss the shot! Your positions before you shoot. First, go to the right side if you’re a “Lefty” and if you’re a “Righty” go to the left side. So you can shoot with the stronger foot. Before you shoot don’t run or walk. You’re going to have to jog then speed up before you shoot. When you jog then speed up, take one less leap towards the ball than you took back from the ball.
You still have one more step to score and make your team win; how to curve the ball. After you’ve jogged towards the ball put your weaker foot next to the ball so you can shoot the ball with the stronger foot. To curve the ball, you have to slightly shoot it from the top of your foot and mostly scrape it with the inside side of your stronger foot. If you want to curve it from the outside of your foot do the same thing except go on the left side if you’re a “Lefty” and go on the right side if you’re a “Righty” and place your stronger foot next to the ball. Also scrape the ball with the outside of your weaker foot.
Phweeeee! GOAL! You scored! The ball was about five inches away from the 4th person of the wall and the goalie jumped the wrong way! Your team is celebrating and jumping on you! This is a magical feeling on making your team win.

Atlantis
Atlantis is a huge water park. I went there with my brother, my two aunts, their husbands and children, and my uncle.
First, I went on a water doughnut then swam to a wavy ride called the Torrent. Five meter waves hit me, my heart was pounding about to explode!
Second, the Rapids (more than one rapid) were twisty and fascinating. Waves thudding against my hips were an amazing ride. I fell off the water doughnut because the third rapid was too twisty. I was leading towards death, but the life guard saved me.
I was really scared of the water slide rising and dropping, the Ziggurats Rides. I rode it with my brother on a double water doughnut. When we dropped; since the double water doughnut has a hole in the back seat to rest our rears, it hurt my butt slightly.
The Plunge was a magical and dark experience. I was on the water slide when all of a sudden it was completely dark and I was in the air still on the water doughnut for about 10 seconds!
The Leap of Faith is a water slide but not just any; I went so fast, I got a burn from friction! It hurt so much. At the end of the ride, I was in a tube surrounded by sharks and fish. I was so terrified; my heart was beating at the speed of 500 beats per minute!
Later on, we had lunch. I had a juicy hamburger with crispy fries on the side and Coca-Cola. I was so happy I didn’t care about the pain.

My Greatest Experience
By MB
One Sunday lunchtime, my family and I went to the restaurant in the Mövenpick with another family. They had two children, one is ten and one is eleven. We picked our table and seat then we started taking a plate and choosing food. I picked 35 pieces of sushi: 10 salmon, 3 spicy, and 22 crab. I also picked a crab and a lobster. My mom peeled it for me. It was delicious!
Later it was time for dessert. I picked 30 pieces of marshmallows. I took a bowl and put it inside the chocolate fountain because I loved it. Then I had a bowl with chocolate in. I didn’t dip my marshmallows in it, I drank it.
When we finished eating, we did an experiment. There was this empty cup on the table and lots of ingredients. We mixed together sugar, salt, pepper, oregano, chocolate grapes, chocolate sushi, and some of the chocolate fountain. It looked disgusting! I was on guard to check if the parents were coming. They started coming so I shouted out, “Beep, beep! Quick, the parents are coming!” They quickly hid the experiment behind the lamp just before their mom came. That was close!
We were bored waiting for our parents so we played with the elevator. It was so much fun but we got lost. I was in one of the elevators on my own. I looked out through the glass side. I was going up and I saw them all going down. I was very happy and laughed. It was now time to go.
