I drew a picture of a person thinking about the word part cogn, because cogn means to know, or to recognize. For example, in the word incgonito (which means undercover) it is the recognize part of unrecognizable.

In Language Arts class this past week, we went over Greek and Latin root words. We had to pick out of a hat to choose our root word nd I got sign as my Greek root word. We had to create a picture that showed the meaning of that root word. We also had to make it creative and meaningful.

In language arts class we are learning about Greek and Latin word parts. In this assignment we were supposed to draw a picture that related to the word part that we picked from a hat. For example I got ped. Ped means foot, So I decided to draw foot prints on the beach with imprints that say ped. I also added seashell and dog paw prints witch really helped set up the scene. I really think this helped the learning process a lot.

In LA we were learning about greek and latin root words. To go along with learning about root words we picked a root word to draw a picture for. My root word was loc which means location. For my picture I drew a picture of a treasure map that spelt out loc for location. The picture tells what loc means without using any words.
