In this chapter I learned about chemical and physical changes in matter. I also learned about chemical reactions in this chapter. We also learned about endothernic and exothermic energy, but i still can't tell the difference. One more thing we learned about were acids and bases. A strong acid can eat through metal, but most acids are found in foods that we eat such as apples, lemons, and limes. What is the difference between an endothermic reaction and exothermic reaction.

In this unit I learned about how conduction only happens when the heat source and the object are in direct contact. I also learned about how convection can only happen to liquids and gases. i also learned about heat. heat is when a warm object comes in contact with a cooler object. in this unit my favorite thing to learn was about conduction, convection, and radiation. in this unit i liked thermal energy the least. i still dont quie get radiation that when.
