The Nile River is the longest river stretches through more than one country. People argued about who controls the water, when Britain controlled Egypt they signed a treaty to take control of the Nile River. So Ethiopia, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Kenya have signed a new treaty to control the Nile more fairly.

Middle ages.

In the Middle Ages life was hard and different from today. People believed in only one religion, that was Christianity in the form of catholic. In the Middle Ages life was dominated by the church and the Catholic Church was very powerful. Opposition to the church meant you would be excommunication. In the middle Ages it was made harsh by the church and everything else that was cruel.

Laws.

Article posted December 3, 2010 at 05:50 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 1275

This is how I think laws are made. First the president and vice president make laws. Then they send the law to congress who discuss over the law. Next the laws go to the Supreme Court and decide to ether pass the laws or not they vote with people who study politics and that vote. The other way that laws can be passed is if somebody gets signatures on a petition and puts it on a ballot board. That is how I think laws are made.
