When bikes come alive Once upon a time there was a man named Carlos and he owned a bike warehouse. He loved the bikes but his father hated them. He was a short mean old man. He often tried to convince his son into using the bikes for scrap metal and making them into pots and pans and things that people would buy but he always refused.

“No! I will not give up the bikes!” he said one night “But think of the money we can make!” said his father. “NO!” his son was so angry at him that he wouldn’t talk to him for the rest of the night. Why doesn’t he like the bikes? He thought. He’s so mean and nasty to me!

When he woke up he didn’t hear his father watching TV. When he went to the basement to sell the bikes. To his surprise his father wasn’t there. He was wearing a safety mask and welding what looked like one of the bike frames and sculpting it into a frying pan. When his father lifted up the mask his son was so angry he didn’t even say a word to him. He had just destroyed his most favorite bike and he only had several more favorites and his father was probably going to ruin them all.

After Carlos had woken up he didn’t bother to go downstairs and see what his father was doing to the bikes. When his father went down to the basement to work on a metal pot that he was making out of the biggest and fastest bike. But when he picked it up he heard a faint voice, “If you hurt me all of my friends will get you and they’ll be mad!” said the bike. “I’m not afraid of you, you’re just a helpless little bike.” said his father “We WILL get you or if we have to we’ll escape!” thundered the bike.

The next day his father went to the basement again to try to finish the pot. To his surprise the bikes were gone!
“Holy cow!” screamed his father “Th-there gone!” “That crazy little bike was right!” “Come on guys let’s get him!” said the voice of the same bike that warned him. “Let’s go!” yelled the lead bike. They went into the warehouse and destroyed everything that his father made. “Will you stop if I say I’ll stop using you for scrap metal?” asked his father. “Only if you promise.” said the bike. “I promise!” “Ok fine”, the bike said. After that his father liked bikes. THE END
