June 4th,1789, Dear secret diary, When I arrived at the coast I saw a slave ship waiting for its cargo. This site had amazed me. But the amazement was all gone when I got on board. I just about wet myself. This was horrifying! We were tied up so tight, we could barely breath! The deadly heat did the same thing. It was so gross, and sweaty. Lots got sick and died. I was lucky!
