This cartoon is about Trump and the big deal about Obama’s birth certificate. What are the signs? Donald Trump saying, “Not from this planet?” I think I’m with Trump on this one. Is he really from the United States? That’s your debate. Like I said, I’m with Trump. If your not, let’s debate! Although, one thing I don’t agree with, is the sign in the upper right corner. So, in conclusion, GO TRUMP! Please, I’m willing to debate about this!

Hunger Games Day 12 Ch 23-24
1.) Day12 brought about the introduction of a new element into the game, strange creatures. Without reading ahead, and knowing that the gamesmakers continually introduce changes to keep the game interesting. Describe what you think the creatures may look like / be like. Illustrate them here as well.
I trhink they are muttations. I think it's like a wolf/lion. I saw it was a muttation, but not what kind.
2.) How do you think this might change the game with only three players left? What do you think happened to Thresh? Could these creatures be involved?
What I think happened to Thresh is he got killed by...the Muttations. No way Cato could kill Thresh. I think they cou7ld, those gmaemakwers are trickey.
3.) Making T-W connections, compare our year of MeyerIsland to the Hunger Games. How do you think you'd do in the Hunger Games?
Well Mr.Meyer, honestley, I think I can kill anyone/everyone. I would easily do it in a minuet. Dean, you're going down.
4.) Do you think that the tributes who go into the Hunger Games knowing what the games are about, had an advantage in being successful, as compared to you students who "might" or "might not" know the game of Survivor?
Yes. I think this because some people are just playing the game of school, and others are over-achiving this "game."
5.) What happened to Foxface? How did she die? What connection does Katniss make about how she died and a mystery she was wondering about?
The way Foxface died is she ate Peeta's 'poison berries."

Hunger Games Day 10 Ch 19-20
1.) What "tween" or pop-culture influences do you think played on the author as they wrote this novel? Explain how you see the influences. (example -Survivor, there is only 1 winner, American Idol - people watch the behind the scenes, etc.)
I think Survivor. It's like that because there is tribes, (illiences). And you have to SURVIVE!
2. What text connecerns have you made so far? Explain your (2) connections and how they fit with the Hunger Games.
1. I get sick and my parents keep me from getting too bad. 2. It's like Survivor again, because you have to be surviving, and have alliegnences.
3When did Katniss first realize that Peeta does care for her and is trying to keep her alive?
When he saved her life during the tracker-jacker attack. And now, because she is taking care of Peeta.
4.)When does she realize her own feelings for him?
She realizes while she was taking care of/for him. Also, when he told her " You can kiss me at any time now."
5.) Did Haymitch think all along that he could keep them both alive by stressing the love story?
Technically, yes. Haymitch thought it would work out quite well.
6.) Are they actually in love? explain.
Yes and no. UI think the way she cares for him, that she likes him. And no, because she kisses him for the crowd.

Day 9 Hunger Games Chapter 17-18
1.) What is a hero? Explain what they do or say that makes them heroic. Think of examples from popular culture that “show” heroism.
A hero is somone who helps other without anything in return. They usally do something that someone admires, like saving their life.
2.) Many of you may think that Katniss isn't much of a hero at all. Have the events of these two chapters changed your minds about that?
Yes. The way she cared for Rue, Rue would say she's a hero for sure. Because she cared for her so heavily.
3.) What has Katniss done to show her "true colors"?
She helped Rue, is good with a bow,and killed the boy that killed Rue.
4.) Do you believe the "star-crossed lovers" gimmick, or is it really true love that these two players share? Explain.
I belive it's true. If Peeta did save her life, than heck yes!

A hero is someone that is likeable and helps people. They usally say something like MLKjr, or they save lives like firefighters or Captain America.

I think she's not a hero still. She kills people to get revenge. If only I remembered that word...
3.) What has Katniss done to show her "true colors"?
She helped 'decorate' Prim, no not Prim, ummm, Rue! She Felt sorry and cared for her always.
4.) Do you believe the "star-crossed lovers" gimmick, or is it really true love that these two players share? Explain.
I think it's real. Peeta saved her life, and she's always talking about him. I think she's starting to grow feelings for him too! :)

1.) How do you think Katniss feels about Peeta’s request to be trained separately? Why do you think Peeta wanted that?
I think he's playing the game with her. He doesn't want her to know what his skills are.
2.) Katniss realizes just how unjust the whole process is, and has difficulty keeping her emotions in check. Describe a time when you lost your temper, why did it happen? Where there any positives that came of it?
My brother hit me with a golf bal. He did it on accedent. He never did say he was sorry.
3.) Katniss has a moment with the Avox. Describe how she “deals” with her guilt over the girl’s fate.
She tells her shes sorry a billion times, and said I should've tried to save you, I'm sorry.
4.) What "angle" would you take for your interview? cocky / arrogant, humble, nervous, vulnerable, mysterious, witty, etc...
Humble. They always would be nice, and they'd love you.
5.)How does the fact that tributes are always on camera affect their behavior from the time they are chosen? Does it make it easier or harder for them to accept their fate? How are "career tributes" different than the others?
By them faking their personallities. It probably makes it harder.Some may be fierce, whereas others may be "nice" like Katniss was.

1.)What are some of the special training sessions that the tributes can attend? What one(s) would you want to do?
Weight lifting,Knife throwing,how to throw a sphere. I'd probably want to go to knife throwing because that could be useful for hunting, and fishing,
2.) Do Katniss and Peeta enjoy having to be full time partners?
I think not. Katniss seemed okay, but Peeta, when Katniss said they could stop faking he said "Whew, okay!"
3.) What does Katniss do in her private session with the Gamemakers?
She shows off what she can do, and they give her critisism.
4.)Why did Katniss react the way she did while in her private session? Do you think that will affect her score in a good or bad way?
I think in a good way, (it did) because that takes skill to shoot an apple, and not hurt anyone.
5.) How did the group cheer Katniss up?
They told her how good she was, and was in "awe."
6.) What was Peeta's score? Do you feel he deserved it?
His score was 8. I feel he should have got a lower score because all he did was lift things. He should've got a 5.
7.) What was Katniss's score? Do you feel she deserved it?
11. Yes.
8.) What does Gale mean to Katniss? Compare that to how she feels about Peeta.
She feels more comfortable around Gale. But Peeta, she doesn't like too much.
9.) Do you think Katniss could feel that way about Peeta?
No. I think she hates Peeta

As the games get closer, Katniss and Peeta meet with their stylists, get a makeover, and participate in the opening games ceremony.
1.) Describe Katniss & Peeta's outfits.
They had black dust, and firey capes. Along with firey hats.
2.) What made them take a "leap of faith" when it came to letting the stylists prep them for this?
They did because Haymitch told them to let the stylist do what they want.
Repeatedly Katniss makes comments, or actions that lead you to believe that she is getting ready to "play" the game with Peeta as an opponent. He often makes conversation or actions that make you the reader ask, "Is he beinig genuine, or is he also playing the game?"
3.) What do you think? What evidence do you base this on? Explain.
I think Peeta actually liked her because he's being too nice to be playing the game. If he was, he would'nt have told her to hold his hand, he would've said "I don't know what he said."

1)Yes, I've been away from my family before. It felt awesome! I had total freedom!I can cook I;m alright!I;d want to say "goodbye" to my parents,and Nathan.
2)I think he gave her cookies because he wanted to SEEM nice.Katnis might have been suspicios because he's never nice to her.
3)They probably want to make sure she can win the next hunger games, so she needs to be taken care of.
4)Maybe because the "spirit mix" he drinks makes him drunk, so he feels better.
5)I think its simply his way of forgetting all the bad things (getting drunk,)because he's not fully concius, so he doesnt know/rememer anything.

5)I've noticed that people from Panam have been treated differently than people like Madge.
6)It helps you think "okay, hunger, umm food, Games,challenges. So, food challenges. It has to do with fighting for you food would be my prediction.
