Blog#1 m3 In my book the Last Shot by John Feinstein, the main character Steve had won a writing contest and was sent to cover the final four for local news papers. The other writer that won was Susan Carol. Carol was with Steve when they over-heard a conversation between Chip Graber and a mysterious man who seemed to be blackmailing Chip. So Steve and Susan Carol come closer together trying to help Chip put a stop to the black mailing. Stevie and Susan Carol come closer together because they need to work together to help Chip. This shows the conflict brought them together when MSU won the final four they were hugging each other. Then also when Susan Carol kissed Steve on the cheek before they went to write their story. This shows that Susan Carol and Steve became closer because of the conflict they share.
