In the book the car, by Gary Paulsen, Terry is the main character. A conflict that I could relate to is when Terry’s parents didn’t listen to him. His mom called first and told Terry to tell his dad she wasn’t coming home. After she was done talking she hung up before Terry could say any thing. Then about fifteen minutes later Terry’s dad called and said the same thing. He also hung up before Terry could tell what his mom said. This meant Terry would be living in his house alone. I can relate to Terry because sometimes my little brother will start talking to me. He won't let me get in one word before he just walks away.I might have had something really important to say but he wasn't care. He said what he wanted to so its over.
