Everyone reads once in their life. There comes a point that you find a favorite one that you love for life. Mine I found last year The Hunger Games. It is a book of killing by hand to hand combat in a futuristic stadium.
It starts with a young girl named Katness. Every year a boy and a girl form thirteen districts get picked to fight to the death. Katness’s sister gets picked so Katness says she will go for her. Then boy gets picked. So now Katness must fight to the death with 26 kids to win. And winning means living.
With every good book there is a bad book. I stop reading more books that I do read them. With so many “bad” books it is hard to find the right one. To find a good book you should do these things. Try books people tell you are good. Chances are the book is good. Also read the back. That will give you a little look at the book. If you do not like it don’t read it. Just try it works. That is a good book and you can find books like it.

Track is a fun sport. With all the thing you can do in track any one can do it. There is jumping, throwing, hurdling, sprinting, and distance. Jumping is an event that requires speed and the ability to jump high or far. You can just jump in to a sand pit or jump with a pole-vault. Pole-vaulting is not just jumping you run with a plastic pole-vault in your hands and drag it on the ground. It with hit a metal based pit and lift you up as you jump. You go over a pole that shows the requirement. That is jumping.
Hurdling is a mix of sprinting and jumping. You need to sprint down part of the track when also jumping every time you see a hurtle. It is hard at first but some people just getting it. You would mostly work with the sprinters.
Sprinting is another part of track. You are running as fast as you can down the track. I cannot do it but a lot of people can. The speed you need to run is amazing. You would have to really try. This is something you must work at.
Throwing is another part. You can throw many things. There are disks, javelin, and shot put. Disk you are throwing a thin small disk that has some weight. Shot put is a small ball that also has some weight. Then you have the javelin that is a varsity only event. It is a sharp pole that you throw.
Last is distance. Distance is what I do. You run for a long time in distance. You can run half mile which is not too bad. You can also do the one mile which is a test of endurance and last the two mile which is the largest thing we doo in track. As you can see there is something for everyone.

Philippines
The Philippines is a cool place. There are lots of cool facts about it and it seems like a nice place to go too. The capital city of the Philippines is Manila. The official languages of the Philippines Pilipino and English (“Philippine Facts”). The Philippines is the 12th most populous country in the world and has the highest birth rate in Asia. There are 20 active volcanoes on the mountains which are the biggest spot, means that earthquakes and eruptions are fairly commonplace (“Philippines | Merlin”). The Philippines has a population of about 90 million people then add an annual growth rate around 2%! The Philippines is a mostly Roman Catholic nation, with a big chunk of the population self-defining as Catholic. The unemployment rate of the Philippines is 7.4% (Szczepanski). These are some cool facts of the Philippines. I know when I learned about it I wanted to go.

Study
Did you ever mess-up and could have fixed it? Did you not do what you were told to do when you had to? Then you someone found out you had to face the consequence that was a head? Well when I went into 7th grade I did all of those.
The first day of school came around and I was in 7th grade. I went to all my classes met all my teachers and they all said, “You will need to study!” Well you would think then and there I would commit myself to studying right? Wrong. Thought that was the stupidest thing I ever heard in my life. I remember thinking to myself, I never studied before and I did more than fine I did great. So why would I need to start now? I must have done something right before so I was fine no need to get all word up about this. They must have been talking to the kids who don’t work right? All of things led up to me messing up. Then I did not study when my first test came around.
Again I did not repeat NOT study for my first test well I did not study for a lot of test at first. My first mistake was made and it was a big one. When my Geography test I did not know what to put for the short answer let alone the rest of the test. So then from there on I would study. No really I just went on not studying. It was fine what harm could one test do it was just a hard test that’s all. Then it was my math test still I knew nothing. Well I was never good at math so it is fine. Then it was reading and still nothing but why? I had five or six of those test and then I still did not study it was stupid. I was a good student so why was this happening? I went to peer tutoring for math but it did not help much. I did not take anything home hoping no one would notice but my mom had edline to see how I was doing and it all started to fall from there. Then one night my mom went on edline.
That night when my mom went on she saw my grades. Now I was in for it. Not only did I not do well on test I tried to hide them, which was not a good idea. My mom called me over and showed me my grades. So my mom told me, “Why are your grades so low?” Now I could do two things lie which at the time would not work with my mom or tell the truth. So I told the truth, “I did not study.” So she said things like What were you thinking, Why did you do that, I raised you to study, why would you not, and why did you not do what you were told? I did not know why I did not study. I was over confident what can I say I always have been. So I was grounded for a week. So you should be able to find out what happened next. I got ungrounded.
From then on I always studied. I got my grades up and everything was ok from there on out. My math went up along with geography and reading. My mom checked edline more often an edline more often and my brother learn from my mistake. I felt like I could do a lot more things if I study hard enough and so I did. Now I would never think of not studying.
You may have made some mistakes and messed up but you can make it right. You will have to face the consequence but that is life. So no matter what you do you will live through it. So if you learn anything from this it should be do what you are told and you won’t go wrong. Some times you will mess up but just tell your self do what you are told! That was a story of my life.

Snowshoeing is really fun. I recently went and had a lot of fun. There are many things you can do. You can do it with a lot of people too.
One of the things you can do is hike around. There are a lot of things you can see. If you look you can see it all. Just take a day to look at it all. Sometimes it is hard to see but if you look at it hard enough you can see it.
You can try to play games with them. Try to play soccer with them. Get two small teams. Then play the game. Sometimes you can find other games to play. Make your own game. Have people over to play. Just have fun.
There are so many things to do with them. Hike or just have some fun. However it is better than just sitting inside.

Skiing is a fun sport but it is also something to do in the winter. You can ski all day and not care about anything else. It will take all your stress away.
You get speed down a hill then go back on the slop. It is not too hard to get the hang of. Just going down the bunny hill is fun. There is more than the bunny hill though.
There is green circles are one step off of the bunny hill. Some people need them to get them off the bunny hill. It makes them feel safe to go on other slops.
Then the blue squares are one more step up. It is harder and has more things. Train parks are blue squares too. They have rails, rainbows, boxes, and jumps. They are for people who like things a little harder.
The next is a black diamond. They are hard. They have moguls which are small (or big) puffs of snow in your way. Last is the double black diamond. That is the hardest slop. They are steep with very big moguls.
I hope to see you on the slops. You would have fun.

Did you ever ski before? Do you know the slopes? Do you know what it means? There are many kinds of slopes and they have different meanings and not one is the same.
• Bunny hill- Childish never growing up. You stay like a kid forever.
• Green circle- You are grown up but don’t want to be.
• Blue square- you are shy, timed, and don’t like to be in public.
• Black diamond- you are strong yet stick up for people.
• Double black diamond- you are strong like to pick on people.
This proves that all of the slopes have different meanings and not one of them are the same.
