school trip

On Monday we went to Regina for our class trip.We where going to the RCMP Heritage Center and the Makenzei Art Gallery.On the way to Regina I sat in the back with Carter. The bus ride felt like 2 hours but we got there and went to the RCMP Hertitage Center.
When we got to the Heritage Center we learned about treaties it was fun because me Austin and Shad where the First Nations Cheifs. Justice and Robyn where the North West Mounted Police. We had lots of fun
Then we where at the Mackenzie Art Gallery. We looked at alot of art there and had a lot of fun there. We went through 4 expits and there was sculpter and pantings it was fun.

Beaver hunting/Easter

On Easter break we went beaver hunting. We used my mom's new 17 Savage gun. We got one beaver and almost 1 muskrat. The beaver was a huge one. It was close to 150 pounds! I would of got to shoot a beaver, but we didn't see any more.
When we were hunting, I had to check for more beaver on the other side of the dugout hill. But there weren't any beaver. Instead of finding a beaver I found a piece of chewed wood. I found a huge piece and a small piece of wood. But sadley I just got to keep the small one.
We got 50 dallors for the beaver, in Moosemin,SK. We got the money from this store. (but I forget the name of the store).
For Easter supper my Grandama made ribs, rice , pie and chiken and the where in mushroom soup. This Easter was the best Easter ever. Then we came home and got choclate from my Mom and Dad

Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving I had turkey and patatoes. We had pie. My grandma and grandpa came for Thanksgiving. So it was the best Thanksgiving ever. After that we did some other stuff like play cards and played Taboo.

In the first week in July my family went to the USA with Mrs.Lee, the twins, and her husband. About half anhour after we left the border Lyndon got a flat tire. My dad phoned Lyndon to tell him that he had a flat tire so we fixed it. We stayed over night at the Wal-Mart parking lot in Miles City.When we stayed in the wal-mart parking lot we went to bed at 1:30. Then at 2:00 in the morning a semi pluded up beside us and left it runing.
We went and saw the Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse.We got to see Mount Rusmore for half anhour. I got a pocet knife with my first name on it. At Crazy Horse we got to see them push the freshly blown rocks away.
We also went to a westren store and I got a pair of cowboy boots.They are brown and green and cost about $120 .
We also went to hotel with a huge water park.There were three slides - one for no tubes; one for a single tubes; one for single or double tubes. There was a pink and blue slide. me and this kid I ment in line went down a tunnel slide and then we where done so we ate supper in the truck. Then it took 2 days to get home. On the way I saw 2 herds of cattle and 28 prong horns. We also saw 2 bee farms and 155 horses on one farm in the corrals. when we had to sleep we slept in the wal-mart parking lot

Our school trip was to the sam kelly caves the funny thing is that there was a sign that said if you tresspass you will be hung. 10/20 kids climbed a hill in the pauster.
we also whent to the power plantand there we looked at all the stuff and

I have 7 cows. there are all at elkhorn though. but then when I was in the pen she chased me but then a cow hit her and that was 301 my other cow.she calved last vear she had now milk so every day I bootled fed it so she owed me owed me one. What sucks though I have to share them with my sisters.

This spring break I am going to Elkhorn,Mb. I will be helping my papa with chores.I hope he gets better. He is sick. If he does not I will have to help his farm hand with chores. Then we are going to a swim party on the 30.

2 years ago my mom and dad bought me a 17HMR!!! This is not a deer gun it's a gopher gun. This is not my first gun. This is my third. When I was 6 I got a BB gun. When I was 8, my dad made a gun for my uncle but I used it for 3 months. Then I got my 17hmr. Now this summer I finally get to used it after 1 year. So I am so happy=http://=http:// Now I have to wait for winter to leave.

Hunting With My Dad

My dad and I like to hunt with guns. This past hunting season, my dad shot a buck=http:// The buck was shot by a 300 Short Mag.
My dad and I went hunting with a bow this October. When we were hunting there were alot of hills. So I wore my work boots but they too SMALL! So I went and sat down. When we were sitting, we saw scrapings (when a buck rubs his antlers against a tree, bits of bark fall off). I also saw a nice muley buck=http://!! We didn't get a mule deer this year.

This Christmas I went to Elkhorn,Manitoba. I went there because I haven't seen my grandma and grandpa in like 3 months. When we got there I helped Grandpa the next day with chores. We have 190 cows,5 bulls,500 yearlings at the feed lot. When I was puting out grain I saw 2 does and 4 babies.
We went to town and had lunch.
The next day, I went to my friends and we went ski-dooing. We halled his calf sled and sled down the hill in his pasture. We only went down the hill twice and then went back to his house.

One week ago I got a new dog. Her name is Christmas Carol. She is awesome but she loves to play and go outside! Whenever you go towards her she will jump up on your stomach(well not all the time) but sometimes. We got her from our farm in Manitoba.

When I went to Elkhorn to see my grandpa. We worked at the Heartland Live Stock Auction. We worked at the pre-sort. That is where you sort stockers and weigh them. I was there for two days. When we had to chop ice, we saw somebody drag a buck out of the trees.

Before I moved here I lived in Elkorn,Manitoba.There we had 500 people.
At Elkhorn you could go to the fair. There are livestock shows. Sometimes there are 4-H shows.

Yesterday we went to a presation called Owls and Cows.The burring owl excret waste in 2 wys.So the presation was awesome. On the way home I saw alot of stuff like grass, cows, horses,and cars.
