"Hi P4". Well done for the effort you made last week with your homework. We have lots of great 'kiwiana' ideas to work with for the variety show.
This week your jobs are:
1. Reading every night.
2. Maths. Choose one set of times tables facts you need to learn. Practise each night and you will be tested on Friday. Use your cards or a good website to help. If you have mastered them all make up a mix of 12 of the trickiest ones.
Basic facts: Use the practise sheet during the week. You will be tested on Friday. Remember, you have 8 mins.
3. Writing: Character Study. Follow the criteria on the sheet. You must use a parent/caregiver as your character. Find out as much interesting information as you can. Listen for lots of funny bits too. You have two weeks to complete this activity. The focus is on using fantastic descriptive language.
4. Star of the Week is... 'John Richardson.'
