February… fantastic, fun, and full of learning! Everyday in February was as sweet as the 14th. From math to art, many new concepts were learned. Hat day, S.H.O.C, and I love to read month challenged me and impacted my learning the most. I know you will be amazed as you read about them.
S.H.O.C was completely new to me and I learned a lot about it. S.H.O.C stands for Student Helping Other Choose. The first day they talked about inhalants and how they’re bad. There is a large variety of cigarettes. The second day they talk about Tobacco and alcohol, like how tobacco kills three out of ten people and it can give you throat cancer some people get addicted on the first try. Some people can get frighten from the first time some one tries to give you a cigarette. It`s not going to easy to straighten your life. You should idolize the people who don`t smoke.
P.s don`t do drugs sweeten your life up. Purify your mouth with life Don`t make a be mistaken do the right thing. Apologize to your self if you even try analyze what you just read. Regroup your life quit with the stress. Just look at your brain you want it swollen up with knowledge.
Hat day was so cool I just have to explain how I did it. We had another spirit day called hat day. All of the school got to wear any hat we wanted. Big hats small hatspurple hat yellow hats. That was the best of the spirit day I was so energized.
Last, I need tell you about I love to read month. We had a goal of 18,000 minutes but we only reached 10,000 minutes. There were two prizes fist prize was to go to the water park .Second prize was to get Culversmeal for their class.
Guess what we won the Culvers meal !
We all cheered and Dakota explodes with joy.
This days was my favorite let`s all harmonize together of our accomplishment.
Were still trying to keep up with the status
February was a phenomenal month! My brain is packed, but I am reorganizing for March because I know it will be packed with great learning this is what I did to symbolize February.

It started out with a wow factor: will.i.am, Taboo, Fergie and apl.de.ap descended from atop the stadium, outfits glittering, bedazzled outfits, singing (with the help of auto-tune) the party anthem "I Gotta Feeling" with hundreds of dancers grooving in step on the field.
But the Peas didn't match the energy of the song; they seemed tentative, and tense. It didn't help that Fergie's mic didn't kick in until she was midway through her first verse.
If the explanation for the Peas' flatness was nerves, those nerves never settled, as they plodded through such songs as "Pump It" and "Boom Boom Pow." Technically, they were fine -- Fergie's voice soared, the raps were performed right. They didn't excite. Even former Guns 'N Roses guitarist Slash seemed bored as he joined Fergie for a short snippet of "Sweet Child O' Mine," an unnecessary cameo that failed to add any sizzle to the set.
So it fell to Usher to breathe some life into the halftime show, and he didn't disappoint as he appeared in all white with a flank of dancers. Although Usher seemed to dance more of his No. 1 hit "OMG" with will.i.am than sing it, his syncopated moves and flips provided the energy jolt that the Peas lacked.

NEW YORK — John Lennon's fans celebrated his life Wednesday by visiting Strawberry Fields, the Central Park garden dedicated in his honor, while a newly released interview he gave shortly before his death showed he was optimistic about his future.
On the 30th anniversary of Lennon's murder outside his Manhattan apartment building, admirers played his music nearby at Strawberry Fields and placed flowers on a mosaic named for his song "Imagine."
The steady stream of visitors represented the range of people who love Lennon, from those who watched his career unfold as it happened to those who know only his music.
Father-daughter pair Paul DeLuca, 50, and Marissa DeLuca, 17, came from Boston to mark the day.
"I grew up with his voice," said Marissa DeLuca.
"The Beatles are the soundtrack to my childhood," she said. "His voice is just kind of like home."
Her father said, "Nothing is timeless like the stuff John and Paul (McCartney) wrote."
In Liverpool, where Lennon was from, hundreds were expected to gather for a vigil Wednesday around the Peace and Harmony sculpture, recently unveiled by Lennon's former wife, Cynthia, and their son Julian in Chavasse Park.
In the newly released interview, conducted just three days before he was gunned down, John Lennon complained about his critics – saying they were just interested in "dead heroes" and mused that he had "plenty of time" to accomplish some of his life goals.

A film adaption of the book is in development. It is to be written and directed by Danny DeVito, reportedly with Saoirse Ronan as Charlotte Doyle, Morgan Freeman as Zachariah, and Pierce Brosnan as Jaggery]. Development was delayed by a lawsuit filed against DeVito by a producing partner. The lawsuit alleges that DeVito was attempting to renege on an agreement. The movie was supposed to be released after September 2009, but it will now be released in 2011. Main characters
Charlotte Doyle - Charlotte is the thirteen-year-old middle-class girl with a proper education. As such, she has grown accustomed to a refined style of living. Sheltered from the harsher sides of life, she has a narrow-minded view of things and places great value in propriety. She is returning to her family from a private girl's school in England.
Captain Andrew Jaggery - Captain of the Seahawk. At first he seems to be a gentleman, but he is actually extremely cruel and reckless in his desire to have the ship reach America on time and is thus despised by the crew, who have felt his rage more than one time too many. By the end of the book his sanity is questionable.
Zachariah - Chef, surgeon, carpenter, and preacher of the Seahawk. Although uneducated, he is a leader amongst the crew and becomes friends with Charlotte. Zachariah serves as a foil to Captain Jaggery.
Samuel Hollybrass - First mate of the Seahawk. Since he was new to the ship, he is unaware of Jaggery's true nature and thus is very loyal as first-mate. After seeing many actions of the captain's cruelty, he argues with Jaggery for driving the Seahawk into the hurricane. Hollybrass is murdered with Charlotte's dirk by Jaggery.

Adam Young, an Owatonna resident performing as digital pop sensation Owl City, will perform a concert in Owatonna on Sunday, Oct. 31, at Owatonna High School.
OWATONNA — When students shuffled back onto the grounds of Owatonna High School this week for orientation and school pictures, they found a little something unexpected in their welcome back packets.
About 2,000 fliers were distributed to OHS students, letting them know that come Oct. 31, their school building would play host to one of Minnesota’s most popular music icons. A 2005 graduate of OHS, Adam Young of Owl City will perform in a limited concert, presented by the Owatonna People’s Press, in the high school gymnasium at 7 p.m. on Halloween.
Young said he was thrilled to have the chance to bring his music back to his hometown, after making his big break on the international music scene. Though his audiences have increased exponentially from when he recorded music under different band names, like Windsor Airlift and Port Blue, Young has not lost sight of his beginnings. He still speaks fondly of his parents’ basement where he began recording music, and his company has recently honored his earlier work, by releasing the album “An Airplane Carried Me to the Bed” under a side project called Sky Sailing.
Though Young’s first three concerts in August were canceled due to a medical emergency and a fall tour of Europe has been postponed indefinitely, Owl City has begun touring the U.S. with concerts slated for destinations like New York, Florida, California and Hawaii, and many states in between. He will support popular artists Maroon 5 and John Mayer before moving onto to an international fall tour, which will take him to Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
In the month following his last slated appearance in Massachusetts and days before he departs for Osaka, Japan, Owl City will return to his roots for the performance at Owatonna High School.
As of Tuesday, only 900 tickets remained for the concert, which is being offered to friends, family and fans in Young’s hometown. Even the proceeds from the event will benefit Young’s alma mater, Owatonna High School.
The funds will be made available to the high school arts programs through a grant made to the Owatonna school district, according to Seth Cummings of Foundations Artist Management.
After an initial sale on Monday, Aug. 2, tickets for the Owl City with Relient K supporting, will go on sale again at the office of the Owatonna People’s Press, 135 W. Pearl, on Friday. Only 900 tickets will be available, with a limit of four tickets per person, between the times of 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Cash only will be accepted for the tickets, which run $30 per ticket.
Any remaining tickets will be made available online at ticketmaster.com, with the password “huskies.” No seating will be available at the concert.

Most of the rock are the size of half are head.
The roots can grow through the rocks that causes erosion.
Subsoil is home to many creatures the one you might know is the worm.
This concludes that subsoil is a great composting area for worms.
Bedrock is made of mostly rocks.
It`s hard for roots to go through the big rocks.
It`s the last layer of soil. This concludes that Bedrock take a long time to erode.
