 The Dog and the Cat Cat and Dog 3rd Times a Charm 3rd Person Omniscient The cat is in the barn and he is thinking that it is a very warm day. The dog is outside laying in the shade and he is dreaming about his next meal he is going to eat. The cat sees the dogs tail move and the cat thinks about going after it. The dog keeps sleeping and dreaming about food, unaware of what the cat is going to do. 3rd Person Limited The cat is in the barn and he is thinking that it is a very warm day. The dog is outside laying in the shade and he is moving his feet and making chewing sounds. The cat sees the dogs tail move and the cat thinks about going after it. The dog keeps sleeping and moving his legs and making chewing sounds. 3rd Person Dramatic At the barn the cat says, “It is a very warm day!” The dog is outside under the shade tree. He is making noises while he sleeps, “Bark, bark, bark!” The cat sees the dog’s tail move and says, “That looks fun to attack!” Then he finally attacks the dog’s tail.
