THE JOURNEY The Marks family come from Russia to Germany to America.They escaped from The Pale, because the pogrom attacked the pale just because they were jewish. So they escaped over night. Most of the people in the pale escaped too. then they came on a boat. When they arrived in America the had to go through a health inspection at ellis island.The great thing was that they passed the test. Now to make a living.
